https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ub ... ost2801975There were only 375 of these made, making it one of the rarest MoPar Muscle cars produced.
Just read that the Type-S is going to have 355 HP and 354 lb-ft of torque. That's very underwhelming, to say the least. Acura says the new frame will be lighter than ever, so it would need to be a few hundred pounds lighter than other cars in the same class (M340i, S4, etc.). I'm going to assume that it's probably going to run around $55k, too. With so much uncertainty around covid, and me working from home full time now, I think this car may just be a year too late for me.It all comes down to price. I love what I see, but if they price it where I think they may, I'll have to walk. I'm not thrilled about the lack of specifics in terms of the powerplant, though. 3 liter turbo, but zero stats on the power. Available next spring, which means they won't release any details until winter.
I think it looks cool for what it is. Kind of an elongated FR-S. Or even a better take on the new Supra.

That sounds expensive.Man, my father in law is getting boned, bad, with his Nova.
So far it has:
Run out of fuel the first day he bought it because the gauge doesn't work properly
Wipers don't work properly
Speedometer bounces
Hood cowl is loose and fender misaligned
Drive shaft at least 3 inches too short
Fuel pump malfunctioned today resulting in a tow
He's not willing to even complain to the dealer because he bought it "as is" but that's a lengthy list of problems for a supposed complete restoration.
Yep I learned my lesson the hard way also. A PPI by a good inspector is super important.I hate to say the obvious but he should have had it inspected.
Back then I thought so, lol...Hah, awesome.
