Minecraft, the next morning:

"Daddy, I'm stuck in a tree."

"Daddy, I followed a chicken into the water to eat it and now I can't get out."

$250!? You could get a really decent NES console + game lot from ebay for that.
I agree it's crazy overpriced like most lego stuff, but I still want it.

We still have an original NES downstairs that works with games/controllers.
yeah $250 is a bit much for that even by overpriced lego standards. If it were half of that, I might be in on it.

Thinking about what I have in the game room and the NES is the one cartridge-based system that I don't have but wouldn't mind adding to my collection. But before I do that, I still have to replace the Atari. It recently bit the dust so I have to make the decision of whether to take it somewhere to get fixed or to pick one up off Craigslist.

I know I said I'd start Paper Mario on N64, but I started Zelda 2: Adventure of Link and now I'm about 65% through it. First I've played it in years. Again, amazing how you still remember stuff from like 30 years ago like it was yesterday, but I can't remember stuff in games I played yesterday.

Yep. I remember a bunch of hidden power ups from Super Mario for the NES I read in a Nintendo Power or whatever it was called in 1986. But remember my current debit card number or kid's SSN? Nope. 😂

Beat me to it.

I still remember San Andreas codes every time I grab a PS2 controller.

I always thought G4 should've been bigger with the rise of eSports. Actually, I can't remember, did it shutdown before eSports got big?

Wikipedia says they stopped doing new stuff in 2012 and stopped broadcasting altogether in 2014.

Weird. That's probably right the middle of eSports rise. I believe ESPN first aired esports in 2015.

It was always kinda fun swinging by their booth at E3 when they were doing live broadcasts.

They had great E3 coverage bag then. Ironically they stopped having much video game related shows in the later half of their existence. A lot of Cops reruns.

What's Morgan Webb up to these days?

Last I heard, she was working for Blizzard. Not sure if that's still the case.

She moved on from Blizzard; she's at a dev now, but I don't remember what one.

Speaking of Blizzard, I stumbled across this while testing out my Atmos the other. They need to turn this into a full blown movie, because I loved everything about it.

Wikipedia says Bonfire Studios.
