I get that crosby, Malkin, Guentz, Letang, Rust were all on the other team but Jesus.

So Crosby left practice early.

Wasn't it lines 1 and 2 against 3 and 4? I would expect that to be a lopsided score but not 7-0.I get that crosby, Malkin, Guentz, Letang, Rust were all on the other team but Jesus.

Sullivan not commenting on why Crosby left the scrimmage early.
Great. Just great.

They're not allowed to, at least for the playoffs. It was an agreement between the PA and league.
Guessing because, if players get COVID they dont want people to know outside of the organization.
FWIW Sheary hinted that it was just a maintenance thing.

No Crosby today. So he’s definitely injured.

I believe you mean he's "unfit to play."No Crosby today. So he’s definitely injured.

How are the 9 not cleared to go yet?

Hasn't it only been a week since it was announced?

Yeah they could be waiting the 14 days. It’s a little surprising they didn’t go the “two negative test in 48 hours” route though.Hasn't it only been a week since it was announced?

symptoms have been shown 7-14 days post exposure so even if it was negative day 6 and 8 could still be positive day 11. highly unlikely but could happen 'in an abundance of caution'Yeah they could be waiting the 14 days. Both DK and Molinari tried to get into Canada in preparation to cover the playoffs, both were denied entry because they aren’t deemed “essential.” Evidently, the NHL hasn’t put reporters on the essential workers list.

Ah I had a question about that somewhere on this board. How long post exposure does it take to get a positive test? Is that that incubation period? For example, Djokovic's coach had two negatives in a few days before finally testing positive later in the week following that COVID tennis tournament that took out 3 players and a few coaches.symptoms have been shown 7-14 days post exposure so even if it was negative day 6 and 8 could still be positive day 11. highly unlikely but could happen 'in an abundance of caution'Yeah they could be waiting the 14 days. There won't be media scrums in the locker rooms. If the only communication is coming from press conference setups, there's no reason why the press couldn't be remote. Both DK and Molinari tried to get into Canada in preparation to cover the playoffs, both were denied entry because they aren’t deemed “essential.” Evidently, the NHL hasn’t put reporters on the essential workers list.

i think the best answer is 'not sure' but it seems like a positive test can occur anywhere up to 14 days post exposure which is why most places are erring on the side of caution and just sidelining for 14 daysAh I had a question about that somewhere on this board. https://www.tsn.ca/how-nhl-plans-to-ope ... -1.1492443Leaving the bubble: Players who are authorized to leave the bubble for a medical reason or extenuating personal circumstance (birth of a child or death of a family member, etc.) will be permitted to return. They will be forced to quarantine on return pending four negative tests over a four-day period - or longer, depending on the location they visited outside the bubble and those circumstances.
I thought it was 2 tests in 2 days but it's actually 4 tests in 4 days. I understand the chance of a player leaving the bubble for an extenuating circumstance, getting exposed to covid, then returning and testing negative 4 times is incredibly slim, but that player could potentially expose teammates, coaches, other players, refs, etc. Just looking for ways that this whole thing could collapse.
