My great uncle - who grew up during the Great Depression - used to come home for lunch each day, boil a hot dog and reuse the water...for tea. Sounds repulsive.

Ah, okay, cool, so I'm an insane person.
For what it's worth, the process is just to open the can with an opener, press down the tuna with the lid to wring out the water, and then swig it from the can before taking the lid off. It's not like I'm pouring it into a pint glass and savoring it later.
I may rethink this next time.

I do the same thing, right up until the point where you drink the garbage water. Press down on one side and drain. See-saw it to the other side and drain...and then do whatever I'm going to do with the tuna. The tuna water goes into the sink drain and then the water is run...
What, do you use the 'tuna in oil' oil to make your...c...ca...your carburetor to...make better...I don't know anything about cars...

Sorry to say dodint, but tuna water is for the cat.
What I hate is when you're squeezing the lid onto the tuna and some squirts out and it's all over your shirt. twss
Also, why does the soup at hibachi grills taste like hot dog water?

One time I was doing my normal tuna routine and didn't realize I actually bought it in oil by accident. Bad swig, that one. What, do you use the 'tuna in oil' oil to make your...c...ca...your carburetor to...make better...I don't know anything about cars...
There is probably a trans-fats joke in there but you'd have to work really hard to chisel it out.

I live in a development that is still active in terms of construction. Since November, I have had to plug five (5) nail/screw holes in the tires of the car my wife drives. Each tire once, plus one twice. I have had to plug zero (0) in my car, or my daughters’ car. Is there any way that one person can be that unlucky?
What are my options here? Just continue to grin and bear it? Divorce? Ask her if she’s trying to drive over nails?

Tell Mrs MWB to stop driving directly through the construction sites themselves, that's what the streets are for.

Did she make any orange vest enemies? Those are some of the worst enemies.

She’s a bad driver as it is, so I’m sure she’s doing both of the above - driving off the road and pissing people off.
Upside is I can now plug a tire in a couple minutes now.

What's the money sitch? I'm pro-divorce generally, but not if you're gonna lose half of everything you own...

I’ve been divorced once already, and we just got married a month ago, so it’s probably not the best option.

I think you get like a full refund if you do it within 30 days...it's in the bible somewhere I think, towards the back...
But hey man, if you want your waning days to be spent picking nails and children's limbs out of your Goodyear Double Eagles, be my guest...

Good point... I’ll check on the refund option. One day left.

Ooh, KC, we can be his legal counsel. We'll need new names though...
I'll be John F. Kibblehouse and you'll be my associate, Grant Standard. We can't lose.

So every once in a while Starbucks has a BOGO promotion on Thursday. The kangaroo's girlfriend elected to order two of the largest size cold brews (32 oz) with no ice due to the promotion. In other words, she got as much as she could for free.
What is the verdict here: is it unethical to take advantage of a promotion in this manner? Is the "right" thing to do is just get what we would normally get?

Starbucks sucks, their coffee tastes like burnt ass, and buying as much as possible for yourself is self-inflicted punishment.

If it were a small local company, I wouldn't be trying to take advantage of them. Large corporations like Starbucks? F*ck 'em. The people who make the most money are people you'll never see or interact with. They pay the grunts who take and make your order the same thing whether you get a single shot of espresso or a venti trenti trimocha sprinkle unicorn fart latte.
