Unrelated, but relevant.

Per https://batman-news.com/2017/01/19/mich ... omecoming/
Michael Keaton kept saying “I’m Batman” during ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ fight scenes

When asked what it was like working with Keaton, Holland said “Pretty cool. He’s a badass. We have a fight in the movie and I punch him. He turns around and says [in a deep voice], ‘I’m Batman.’ He kept doing Batman quotes on set.”

”There’s a great scene—it’s not in the movie, it was cut short—where I carry the Vulture out of the flames when he nearly dies and I rescue him,” Holland recalled, “and I lay him down on the sand and he says, I think the line was ‘Why did you save me?’ And I’m like, ‘because I’m Spider-Man,’ and then he goes, ‘But I’m Batman!’”

Let us know if he dies this time. Would be an improvement.

I'm torn here. Marius and Cosette have both always sort of bugged me in their characterizations in the musical; they just sort of come off as snotty side characters to whom the story happens, they don't really come off as active participants. But my favorite character is Eponine, and - for whatever reason - she's smitten with Marius, and I want her to be happy. (I mean............ 'spoiler alert'.......)

*sigh*

YES! Their love story always feels like dlc. Like...it's part of the story, but seems to have been created at a different time and then placed in the overall story. It doesn't help that Cosette shares the stage with two of the most viscerally heartbreakingly tragic female characters in any one show ever.

Don’t you fret, Monsieur Marius,
I don’t feel any pain,
a little fall of rain,
Can hardly hurt me now...

Les miserables movie was just as great as I remember it being. I absolutely love the sets they used for the movie and openly sob for a good part of it. Love the story and all interpretations I've seen of it.

Russell Crowe ruins the big movie version for me. There are other average performances, but he is awful.

The shoes were too big for him.

I assume you sob anytime Redmayne is on screen?

Yeah, I can definitely see how certain people didn't live up to the role, but it all worked for me. Obviously you are going to get in trouble when you start comparing to the big voices in the theater, but I liked him. The sewer scene goes too much sewer scene. I'm in tears as Javert ends it and then extra hard thump immediately jerks me away from my emotions. I'm also in tears as Fontine is passing and the close up of her with that dumb and dumber bowl cut making her teeth look enormous also jars me into laughter, but her I dreamed a dream is so good she can do or look however. Those are my nitpicks.

The guy has a dumb face, but I have no problem with him. His voice actually sounds pretty good if comparing to the original broadway version. I think he's a fine actor.
