It's a good night to be a Penguins fan on NBCSN. Tonite at 7, they're showing Game 6 from 2009 followed by Game 7 at 9:00. Then, they're showing the championship film at 11. No Pittsburgh bias there. =)

Today's watch:
Sidney Crosby, let it be said, 100. I love how weird this year was in Penguins history.

Did the players have to get tested before they were allowed to return?

I think everyone involved needs tested prior to returning.
Man if we can get Jake back for a run, a top 6 of Jake, Jason, Sid, Geno, Rust, plus whoever else might be the best top 6 of the Sid and Geno era.

I wasn't the only one that felt a little tingling in a certain area watching that, right?

Who was on the ice for the Pens in practice today? I saw Crosby but was that Jake?

Guentzel skated yesterday with a small group that included Sidney Crosby, John Marino, Brian Dumoulin and goalie Casey DeSmith. A different group went on the ice with Evgeni Malkin, Bryan Rust, Jared McCann and Jack Johnson.Who was on the ice for the Pens in practice today? I saw Crosby but was that Jake?

Two somewhat periphery things that always strike me about that goal:
1. Pens basically scored that goal shorthanded. After Kunitz dumped the puck to Schultz at the blue line, he skated to the bench for the change. By the time he hit the door and his replacement hit the ice, the puck was in the net. Kunitz had his back to the play at the bench and when he goes in the door, his teammates jump up and go crazy and he joins right in.
2. Rinne high-sticking Ellis as he reacts to the puck off his back. I never fail to giggle at that one.
