Prince Philip turned 99 today. There was a picture put out with him and the queen, man they look good at that age.

this is one of the most ominous news articles ive read in some time. sinking feeling in my stomach as I read it and the strange series of deaths around these two
CBS Evening News has an update on this story tonight:

Lori Vallow Daybell rented and then failed to pay the bill for a storage unit full of the children's things in Rexburg, according to a contract reviewed by EastIdahoNews.com.

Lori began renting for $53 per month from Self Storage Plus on Oct. 1, according to the contract, and surveillance footage reviewed by EastIdahoNews.com appears to show Alex Cox, Lori's late brother who fatally shot her ex-husband, visit the storage unit multiple times.
Surveillance video showed the guy removing large, heavy duffel bags out of the unit.
Remains of the kids were DISCOVERED on the step-father’s property.

I'll be honest this situation always confused me. The story needs a family tree accompanying it

Ran that tweet past a dam engineer friend of mine and he said the Tweeter didn't understand the article. Collapse isn't imminent or the issue.

Wow. He seems like a genuinely good man. When he was talking about his wife...that's rough.

Now that's going to be a really long release agreement. "I hereby release Pittsburgh Zipline Co. from any of the many, many ways I could die, including but not limited to falling into a parking lot, falling into the river, falling into the river and then drowning, falling onto a road, falling onto a road and then getting run over by a car/truck/bus, falling onto train tracks, falling onto/into a passing train, and falling onto the train tracks and then getting run over by a train."

This is a cool idea that I would love to do, but depending on how visible the cables are I feel like it would be a bit of an eyesore.
