Here's a list that includes all of the Criterion Collection available. Not sure what was on that Criterion Channel, but there's a ton on HBO Max.Good, I cancelled criterion channel because I wanted a little variety of old movies and not just art house. This will be niceHBO Max released today. The non-HBO content isn't quite as robust as the commercials made it out, however, the TCM curated section is amazing. Really great movies in there that I haven't seen available on any of the other big streaming services.

I just checked out the app, looks like it's the best of both worlds with one subscription. I wanted to like criterion after filmstruck went down, but the content was too much of the same. This is a great variety. Highly recommend lone wolf and cub moviesHere's a list that includes all of the Criterion Collection available. Not necessarily movie-related but this is a great interview with Steve Buscemi.

Good Boys was 90 minutes of crude jokes strung together, but some of them actually landed and I enjoyed it. The Stephen Merchant...cameo(?)...as the "pedophile" was dead on.
It was on HBO so I figured it couldn't hurt to unplug for a bit.

It’s a cruel joke. All of my favorite movies are having reunions but they’re hosted by Josh Gad and extremely edited.

Family movie night was The Abyss. Big hit. Been years since I've seen it and it is terrific.

I'll always love The Abyss.

Unfortunately they only have the theatrical cut on HBO Max, but luckily everyone enjoyed it so much, that another viewing in the future if I can ever find the special edition will be welcomed

The vast of night is out on prime today, supposed to be top notch scifi twilight zone flick

The vast of night was really cool. A bit of a slow burn to start, but I really dug what they did with it. The camera work was awesome, I'm impressed by these newcomers.

Wow, just read they did this movie for under a million dollars. Great stuff. For fans of close encounters/outer limits/twilight zone/etc

Watched the first three Die Hard movies with the family (all on HBO Max btw). Good stuff, but 3 is better than 2 by a mile. Naked Bill Sadler at the beginning of 2 was something else. Parts of 3 were shot in Charleston and John’s Island, so that was pretty cool to see the old Cooper River bridge (where they pulled the truck into the harbor). I guess it was cheaper to film that there and not shut down a NYC bridge for a day plus for shooting. I think Joel Silver had a house near there, so that was a plus.
Hard Days Night is also on HBO Max, got to watch that with my kids. My older son was already a massive Beatles fan and loved it. His 11 year old brother - a devoted hip hop fan - also enjoyed it. He kept asking if Neil Young (another musician we listen to a lot in the car) was in the Beatles.
Very impressed with the content on HBO Max so far - all Harry Potters, most of Jaws, Alien(s), anime, TCM collection (lots of Westerns @Freddy Rumsen, and I’ll probably get around to watching Watchmen.

I drive up the Taconic State Parkway from NYC to Poughkeepsie at least once a year to visit my inlaws and love driving by the area where the car shootout scene was filmed. This is after he gets blasted out of the aqueduct.Watched the first three Die Hard movies with the family (all on HBO Max btw). Good stuff, but 3 is better than 2 by a mile.
