Here's a good comparison:

Nice Meow. lol, the difference between our fully haired-out goldendoodle (in January) and when she gets her spring shaving and subsequent cuts is pretty funny. Looks like a totally different dog.

I'll see if I have a fully furred Maddie picture. She's an Australian shepherd, so her fur is ridiculously thick in the winter.Nice Meow. lol, the difference between our fully haired-out goldendoodle (in January) and when she gets her spring shaving and subsequent cuts is pretty funny. For the struggle with big picture...
If you upload it to imgur, the site gives you options in terms of size... a lot of 'em (original, small square, small thumbnail, etc). Can find it on every picture. Might have to click on the picture first or click the "Embed" link on the right side (in the middle of the picture list on the right).

Quincy is my cocker spaniel. He is mostly black with brown eyebrows and some white on his chest. Just a sweet dog.
I have a gray and white tabby named Petunia. She is also sweet, except with Quincy who she wishes was never born. She hisses, spits and swats at him... He just thinks she's playing and tries to swat her back.

I've posted a lot of my pics at LGP, but this remains my favorite pic of all time:
The cat is Walter (RIP 2007); the dog is Simone (still kicking at almost 19 years old).

He's part pomeranian that's all I really know. I know he's not pure pom as he is much too big. He doesn't look much like a pomeranian because we get him shaved down especially during the summer months.
We've(my wife and I) have worked with him alot since we got him. He's gotten alot better. When we first got him he wouldn't play with any toys, was skittish of every little thing. Would throw up in the car all time time even on short rides, would destroy things when we weren't home etc. So no clue what bad happened to him before we got him, but while he has his quirks now I love the little **** head lol.
This is what he looked like the day we got him... I think our cat actually ways more than him right now by a pound or so haha.

(Obviously kidding) But this how our no pet apartment makes me and the missus feel.

I have a small kennel in my house.
From top to bottom is Ty, Dexter and Dixie.
Ty is a pure rat terrier. From the story we got, he was abandoned in North Carolina and was shipped up to Pittsburgh to the animal shelter that we were volunteering with. They were trying to sell him at Petland in Eastside. He was help up in that little 2 foot by 2 foot box glass display box and would get so scared that he would pee whenever someone would get around him. We were his last shot to try and break him of it before he was deemed un-adoptable and put to sleep. He's still skittish around new people but he's been great for us. Once he had a big yard to run around in, the peeing stopped immediately. About 6-8 months after we got him, the shelter we were volunteering with went out of business so he became permanent.
Dexter is in the middle and Dixie is on the bottom. They were the first two dogs my wife and I got. They're brother & sister from the same litter. The Dad was a Jack Russell and the mom was a Beagle. They get the joy of having a shock collar because even though we have a big, fenced in yard, they kept trying to dig out. Instead of spending almost ten grand on a new fence, we put the invisible fence about a half a foot around the inside of our yard, so now they can't even get to the fence. They got shocked maybe two or three times before they learned. Now I just have a dirt track around the exterior of my yard about a foot inside the fence from where they run the perimeter. They came from a farm in Butler. No abuse or sad story with them. They've pretty much been spoiled from day one.
This is Debra. Named after Dexter's sister from the TV show. We got her from an Ohio kill shelter the day she was going to be gassed. You can see the before and after pictures. She's been the sweetest, most well behaved dog. She's the type of dog where I can walk her around the neighborhood without a leash and not worry about it.
This is her being protective of my daughter, who was just about 2 months old at the time...
