The amber plague hadn't occurred and the playoffs started today? Were that the case, the bracket would look like this. Pens & Flyers would be a corona fueled stress inducing match-up to watch, with either the Caps or Canes to follow, should our boys pull it off.

How do you think they'd have fared, with either Tampa or Boston to follow those two in the Wales Conference Final following?

That's where I sit too...

Not that Washington looks like a cake walk either...it's a tough road out of town...

We'd sweep the East, then beat Vegas in 6.

For sure. Our chance to beat the Caps is play like we did in 2016 where we basically speed-bagged everyone. Lots of chips. Lots of flips. Lots of getting to loose pucks first.

I said at the deadline that we went for speed more so than any other team in the East. So putting the run around on teams was our first and foremost play.

What meow said but how likely is that to happen again given everyone is faster?

flip a coin for us vs Washington and/or Philly imo. TB is a wagon of course but we've seen what they do in the postseason so I assume Boston would be waiting in the ECF if we made it. We'd be definite underdogs but who knows? Crazy sht happens in the Stanley Cup Playoffs

The way they were playing at the end? Out in the first round. 4 games to 1.

that will be the interesting thing to watch though, provided that somehow we get this thing going again. look at how many teams were sucking after their bye week. if the league starts up again it's literally anyone's Cup. well, probably not Ottawa or Detroit but....

I was thinking this year, Tampa learned from last year and were red hot going into March. They looked like a different team.

Whichever team syncs up and gets in a groove the fastest. With all the changes to pens roster, im thinking..not them.

They were basically de-syncing as the season went on. Hopefully they come back with no signs of that.

I hope we sweep the Flyers with 4 OT winners by Jake so Philly fans can complain we wouldn't have had him if not for everything going on.

I think Murray would've gotten hot. But vasilevsky hotter, and they'd lose in the conf finals.
