Luigi's Mansion 3 is a blast. I had no idea this game was going to be like it is. We had fun playing the multiplayer games too

Bought Astro A40s as a gift to myself. As a guy who’s been using a small TV to game for the last 5 years, and surround sound before that, WOW.

Finally caved and played Warzone. It’s a big learning curve for my Battlefield-trained middle-aged brain, but a lot of fun so far. I seemed to have the most fun in Plunder with some of my BF friends.
Cross-platform play is something else. One of our first matches, we were matched with two stoned Long Island bros on Xboxes (We play on PC). Just talking ****, n-word this, n-word that (Like “get that n-word in the building” not explicitly racist). Talking about what strain of weed they’ve been able to get on lockdown, and whatnot. Totally different type of player than I’m used to.

I haven't touched BF since Warzone came out. In fact, Warzone is exclusively all I play anymore. Nothing better than playing with 3-4 people and getting good with them. Then getting that first win. I hate BR games for the most part, but this one is fantastic.

The Wii is hooked back up in our living room for the Mrs. to mess around with Super Mario. She loves that ish. Lol.
Fired up the ol' ps3 in the other room because....well why not. I wanted to revisit Fight Night which was installed on the 3s hard drive. What I forgot was that I, for like 6 months, had a ps+ account way back when and had downloaded Dragon's Dogman and Kingdoms of Amalur as the free games. I had played each a fair amount, but ended up not renewing the plus membership and so, alas, lost the ability to continue. Well can you guess who now has ps+ active for the 4, logged in under his currently updated ps+ account, and jumped right back into the fray after 7ish years? Me, guys.....it was me.
Both games have held up pretty well. KoA is just plain fun to play, and the combat in DD is outstanding. DD only allows one save slot, which initially meant jumping back in at level 60 with no idea what I was doing, but I figured out that you could create a second user for the ps3 and play under that to start a new game without deleting the advanced one.
I shouldn't be this excited.

KoA was a fantastic game. It is a damn shame that the company was run so poorly because they set up this world with all these different races and now it will just rot.
I played through pretty much the whole game/side quests with 2 different characters back in the day... It was easily around 200 hours.
And it never really "ends"... There are certain tasks that respawn pretty much ad naseum until you decide that you want to stop.

The main negatives I can remember from KoA were that it only ran in 720p, and the level cap was way too low for the amount of content involved, especially once you factor in the dlc.

Getting close to finishing up Witcher 3. I've been playing this game for literally the last couple months. What a great game.

What is plunder? Haven’t tried it yet.

After playing Warzone for a few weeks, I’m back to only PUBG. Warzone was fun and all but I’ve yet to find another game that gives me the same challenge vs reward that PUBG does. Everything else feels like low stakes.

Plunder is a new mode for me - it's part of Warzone, where your squad tries to collect the most money. You get to respawn as well, which is different. No shrinking gas cloud either, so it's not really Battle Royale.

for me personally, once they changed the load out cost to 10K, that kind of upped the challenge. It now became more of a challenge to find gear, and thankfully they fixed that too. After playing Warzone for a few weeks, I’m back to only PUBG. Load out is 8.5k, still harder to get than the 6k. Been playing a ton over the past week, roughly plus 60 kills for the week. Sniping is really satisfying

Meanwhile, my daughter and I have been playing LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 all weekend long. The LEGO games are a hell of a lot of fun, though sometimes lacking in instructions.

What? It’s 10k as of this past Thursday. It’s finally a mid-game goal instead of 10 minutes and run at the start.Load out is 8.5k, still harder to get than the 6k. Been playing a ton over the past week, roughly plus 60 kills for the week. Sniping is really satisfying

Yea so it's for sure 10K now, Season 3 changed the price again.
We used to buy them first thing, now we buy UAVs and Self-revives, and wait for game drop.

FF7 Remake has been **** excellent at a constant rate. Made it about 9 hours in, and seems almost too good to be true to be this good for the entire game. I never had a lot of sentimentality towards FF7 either (first played it in maybe 2010).

Is ff7 remake available for Xbox?
