13 dollars a day more than our old place though.

Its 36 then goes up to 45 for the extra hour. I know it's still relatively cheap. But it can be avoided.

He goes 3 days a week. So give or take:
current $420 or $32 daily
Future $600 or $45 daily

They let you pay per day? Nearly all of the daycares near us required a full week's tuition no matter how many days the kid was there. We pay $34/day for her before/after school care right now, but she only goes once/week.

Yeah, we are by day but 3 day minimum. He has each grandma watch him Monday and Friday.

Ear tubes next Friday. To say mom and dad are anxious about anesthesia on a one year old is an understatement.

No, local hospital. I do know it's simple but always that what if that runs through your head.

Our daughter had to go under twice for her spica cast, so I feel your anxiety. It’s never fun.

Good lord.... We pay $284/week

Granted, they did a phenomenal job with our daughter's development and I know my son will enjoy the same benefit.... But yeah.

We found probably the best bang for our buck at our place. $200 a week. There were cheaper, but they were clearly cheaper if you know what I mean. And then there was first class daycare that would have been my wife’s entire salary.

Also lucky that my company reimburses me 50% of my daycare costs.

Daycare reimbursement? Never heard of that before. That’s an awesome benefit.

Our four month old had his next round of shots on Friday. Unfortunately, this seems to have coincided with him getting a stomach bug. Diahrrea and projectile Exorcist style vomiting. Gave him some Pedialyte out of a dropper. Feel awful for the little guy.

I read that as "year old" and thought... "shad, dude. Did you have have another kid without telling us???"

I think I said it when our kiddo had a round of like 3 shots and come oral vaccination that I can totally understand some of those anti-vaxxers and their immediate emotional reaction to what their kid has to go through with that.

Is the sesame Street theme park out on the worse side of the state worth it for a 2 year old?

It’s been years since my kids were young enough for that, but Sesame Place was a lot of fun for them back then.

Was thinking of doing a long weekend in the summer and that place popped into my head. Maybe do there, and Hershey or Crayola on the way out/back.

Sesame Place is fun. Long drive from the Burgh lol though. Literally the last exit in PA on the turnpike.

Well, it's official. Wife took the kids this morning to the in-laws in NY. Gonna be reallllllly weird the next couple of days.

It seems like it's... Ridiculously expensive? Or is 70+ the going rate for admissions these days?

Look for coupons or promo days for deals. Disney is about $125 a day now.
