a) I miss Scrubs, and b) my ENT told me that I really should have had my tonsils out when I was a kid. That’s part of the problem.

Sames on Scrubs. I'm almost tempted to buy Hulu/Prime just for that show

I didn't realize until yesterday that I scheduled my dental implant procedure for Valentine's Day. Guess I at least now have an excuse to just relax at home.

Got the flu. It sucks. Supposedly my fly shot should shorten it up plus I am on the tamiflu.

Still sucks.

And the codeine cough syrup isnt even the bonus I thought it would be. Doesnt even put me to sleep.

Dental implant post procedure is done, so now it's just a waiting game until I can have the crown built and installed. This entire ordeal has been super easy with zero pain. I've got a terrific periodontist.

You've had a shitty week between the car, the crazy neighbor, and your dental issues.

Yeah, when the dental work is literally the least of those worries, that’s bad.

I can’t eat any hot food tonight, so I may wind up eating jello or something for dinner.

“Oh, wow” are not the first two words you want to hear from the urgent care doc when he looks at your throat. Rapid test for strep came back negative, but I’m going on meds. I’ve had a sore throat for 5 days now and am heavily congested.

Sorry to hear that dude.

My wife has some real issues going on now. She had been nauseous, and a few days ago broke out in a rash over much of her body. The weird thing was it was almost the same on both sides of her body. The last 24 hours, she has even started to get blisters between her fingers in the web part. Just utterly bizarre. The doc put her on penicillin and prednisone. She actually thought that she had Scarlet Fever but the initial test was negative. I'm worried it might be shingles

:(

Shingles was my guess as I was reading her symptoms.

Her stress has been high lately and she's been dealing with PTD since our son came. I think it is too. Thanks gents.

Man... whatever this cold is, it's wreaking havoc on our company. I've had it since Saturday. Started as a sore throat (like painful sore) with a bit of post nasal drip, and then by Tuesday it morphed into chest congestion (hacking up some nice phlegm) and at night the snot just accumulates in my nasal passage. This morning in the shower, I blew a snot rocket that made a significant splat sound as it hit the floor of the shower.

It's one of those colds where you don't really feel bad enough to waste a PTO day on it (if I had unlimited PTO or didn't have a kid and buying a house where I'll need to take days for that I'd have stayed home), but you're certainly not 100%.
