i feel like nightly sellouts would be more fun than an 70% full arena every night

Didn’t WBS used to be a guaranteed sellout?

Mike Folkes and James Melindy going at it after warmups prior to today’s Beast / Growlers tilt. Should be a good one!

Game six last night of the east final in the AHL was the loudest building I’ve ever been in.

Heading up to the Baby Pens vs. Rochester Americans game here in Rochester tonight. Am interested in seeing how all these prospects we all talk about actually look in person. Go Pens!

Cool. Would be interested to hear thoughts. Defenseman #24 (Pilut) and forward #81 (Murray) on Rochester would also be of interest to me if your eyes have the capacity...

End of the 2nd here. 2-0 Amerks. Pens seem really overmatched tonight. Chasing the puck most of the time. Dump and chase with little forecheck and support means it's just coming right back out. Trotman on ice for both goals against and kinda looked bad in the process.

Murray looks like a big dude, but not very noticeable out there. Pilut looks pretty solid on D for them. Probably further along developmentally I'd guess. I'll try to update after the game especially if anything happens of note in the third.

Also worth noting that Pens probably gave up like 5 or 6 odd man rushes earlier in the game. Seemed to fix it though.

Saw WBS this past weekend. That team is full of "Meh." Except. PO Joseph. That dude is an exciting watch.

He is much more mobile and has a longer reach than I expected. He's gotta fill his frame out. He lost every puck battle he was in if he let the guy get into him. He did make a few really slick outlet passes. Doesn't like to use his partner.

Oh, that's disappointing...that's what he was back in the Q...long reach, great wheels, competent outlet passer, cannot gain weight, light as a feather...

Still worth a look, but when I saw him in the Coyotes organization real early on, he was the same player as he was in his draft year...

That might be true, but when you have a player with some splash to his game on a team of *squints at game notes* Dustin Warsofsky and Jake Lucchini, it's bound to stand out a bit

Yeah that's fair...I'll fully admit, I thought he played in the AHL last year...so I'll withhold further judgment til I can see him again...

They have a logjam in net here. Seattle keeps sending Joey Daccord down. They signed Dubnyk the other day. Now Knight.

If you think Jonas Johansson constitutes "logjam", you're a buffoon haha

But yeah, it's probably best for Knight to go down because Bob isn't cheeks this year...

Why is Johansson still in NA? I’d rather have a shooter tutor in there.

At least pucks don't go through those things...he's tragically bad. He's an Allsvenskan goalie...
