I really enjoyed the season finale of Mando.

Never watched Clone Wars, but may watch that next.

Episode IX
Enjoyable movie, but I could have done without some of the story decisions. I think the two things that bugged me the most are the Palpatine lineage¹ deal, and Leia's lightsaber².

1: I liked it better when Rey was "just Rey" and not a big name.
2: Why not just have it be Luke's green saber?

Started watching The Mandalorian the other day... Six episodes in and I'm enjoying it. It may have been covered, but I don't want to risk spoilers yet... But what time frame does this take place in? Between rotj and tfa?

Mando
Mando: Leave me, I'm a goner, I can't go on, let me die here.
Droid: Wait, I've got some hairspray!

Not that it really informs anything, but Mando is set in a time where Ben Solo would be a newborn-to-toddler, but Rey Just Rey had not yet been born.

Listened to a ROS review podcast on my commute today. Star Wars fanboys are insufferable. It's a damn good thing the internet didn't exist for the original trilogy. Fanboys would've torn apart Empire. Despite how people feel about it today, the original reviews weren't all stellar. Star Wars fans would've been pissed about ending on a cliff hanger, pissed about the unanswered questions, pissed about splitting up the cast into separate stories, and just generally pissed that it wasn't the sequel they've been writing in their heads during the three years following ANH.

I'm also so **** sick of hearing 40 year old dudes complain that a movie doesn't make them feel the same way they felt when they were children.

They’re also the same people who claim to actually like the prequels. It’s almost a response to the other ridiculous group of Star Wars fan who claimed Lucas “raped their childhood.”

A couple weeks ago I saw one of those whiny reddit NTP66s post that they thought Disney should make George Lucas creative director of all Star Wars properties moving forward. I’m glad these people hate the new movies because their preferred version would be ****.

Fanboy in general are asshats. However, no one touched Trek fans. Pixel counting to guage ship size and flying off the handle if they are a few pixels "wrong".

Then there are other people like "Reylo" fans (Kylo and Rey) who are disavowing Disney and hate starwars because John Boyega has the audacity to be honest and say he doesn't like Kylo and Rey together (neither did Daisy Ridley or like any of the cast haha). They want Disney to go after him and also Oscar Isaac for saying he did not like Reylo at all. They are claiming that JB saying anything is an attack on them and the fandom.

Seriously, calm down people.

I said the day after watching the movie that the Reylo kiss didn't even feel like a romantic payoff, just a moment of shared exuberance.

I'm just saying, at the bar where I watched Superb Owl XLIII there was a lot of kissing going on after the final whistle.
