Depends on what I'm ordering. Two of these times were parts for a furnace and my car, and I wasn't willing to pay 25%+ more locally.I totally get it, but if you needed is ASAP, I think there are better avenues than ordering online more often than not, no?

Sounds like a good way to start a chat with Amazon to meI think there are better avenues than ordering online more often than not, no?

A channel I follow on ouTube did a comprehensive discharge test on a whole bunch of brands of AA batteries. Brands were Duracell, Energizer, Amazon Basics, Harbor Freight Thunderbolt, Duracell Quantum, Dollar General, Rayovac, Eveready, and Energizer Lithium. The Amazon Basics batteries didn't last the longest; the longevity crown went to the expensive Energizer Lithium batteries. But the Amazon Basics came out on top when price was factored to give a milliampere⋅hour/penny number.

This is a great bonus perk, as there are four DCs in the LA area. We usually run about 75% of our sold by/shipped by items delivered within 12 hours of clicking "Place your order".I live 45 minutes from a distribution center in NJ. I frequently get stuff the same day or by 8am the next morning with our Prime. It's Weds morning before 10am on the east coast. I want to order some batteries from Amazon. I have Prime and get free 2 day shipping. The delivery date for everything I'm looking at is Monday.
Location, location.

Walking onto the platform as the train to NYC pulls away.
Guess I’ll sit here for a while.

Somewhat related, but when the school bus arrives like five minutes early. There should be a rule like with trains that they will never leave a stop early.

Then the second train was canceled for mechanical issues. Should’ve been in NYC by 12:15.
Just got in at 1:45.
There may be drinks in my future.

Fur babies and referring to your pets as your children or referring to yourself as a cat's "mommy" or "daddy"...all of those things just get you incarcerated...1:1 swap out for people who are in for minor drug offenses...system fixed, society improved...

Our dog leads an incredibly spoiled life, and is just as much a part of our family as our *real* children. That said, "Fur babies" is indeed an intensely aggravating term. I notice (and this isn't universal), but this term is heavily used by the child-free crowd. Engaged couples in their early 20s, single women in their late 40s, etc.

my pets are better than children. I can leave them alone at any age and don't need to save for their college education.

These people are letting their kids lay in the aisle. That’s ok. Nobody needs to go back to use the bathroom or anything.

That's a parent issue, IMO.

Oh it’s happening.kid was laying in the aisle coloring and kicking my leg.
It’s definitely a parent issue but also partly a flight attendant issue imo. Sorry folks we need to keep the aisle clear.
Hope I didn’t offend anyone with my dirty looks.
Just my experience- all airlines have issues but this crap happens much more on Southwest.

If that kid is kicking my leg, I'm getting up, going to the bathroom and stepping right in that kid's mouth on my way to it...whatever happens from there, happens...

Paraphrasing John Steinbeck here, but my dog is a first rate dog and not a second rate human. Therefore, I don't patronize Chloe the plott hound by referring to myself as dad, my parents as grandparents, etc. and she sure as hell is not my fur baby
