From the radar, it looks like the rain and snow is still a couple hours away.

That's not a temperature gradient...

This. This is a temperature gradient.

Or rather, a wind chill gradient.

Still mindboggling to me that it's basically a 40 degree swing outside the front.

That's awesome, thanks for sharing. Yeah, this is one hell of an Arctic front steamrolling through the country.

Shockingly, Interstate 80 is shut down again due to a major accident. Apparently involving an overturned tractor trailer in a construction zone. I swear this happens every single winter event...damn semis.

In the group chat for what I went to, we were discussing how we made a huge mistake coming home...we quickly just decided on a suicide pact...we determined that the fastest, cheapest and most painless way to do it was just to buy those microwaveable Hot Pockets...so I'm stopping at the poor people store on my way home to pick one up...

The third leading ingredient in Hot Pockets is gamma rays, I'm pretty sure...not something that I have eaten since probably my sophomore year of college probably...

We barely got a flake here, but they were getting 1"/hour rates down in Richmond and northern NC.

This is I-64 near Richmond yesterday afternoon:

As soon as I picked up my 3 year old from daycare, he said "daddy, daddy can we go sled riding?"

Ah, to be a kid again
