Let's play the hypothetical game that Pitt and UVA win out pre-ACCCG:Assume a 25-30 pt loss for UVA similar to Pitt's last year. UVA is now 9-4 and Pitt is 9-3 assuming they take care of business. I dont think the committee puts Pitt ahead of UVA where UVA has the head to head win and won the division and Pitt didn't. If this were the old days of just the polls, maybe, but I'd bet against Pitt making the Orange Bowl under these circumstances. I think they need UVA to lose by 40 plus and just get massacred. The good thing is UVA isn't ranked. If Pitt wins out they should be either in the ACCCG (if VT beats UVA) or the Orange Bowl (if UVA beats VT and takes an L to Clemson).
Pitt is ranked after beating VT this week. UVA isn't after beating Liberty.
Pitt is still ranked after beating BC, UVA maybe jumps in but beating a 4 loss VT team isn't really earth shattering at that point. So we're probably still above UVA.
UVA gets trounced, or even loses by 20 - they aren't going to jump Pitt unless they really hang close imo
