What's the premise of Setback and where does it fit in the timeline?

Based on the GOT drama and Kennedy's history of kicking directors to the curb if they don't fit with Lucasfilm's vision, I doubt they quit. Those dadholes rushed their way through the last two seasons of GOT just to quit Star Wars? dadholes.

Was not a GOT fan, but I've really liked everything SW post-Disney. This has a good news vibe imo.‘Star Wars’ Setback: ‘Game Of Thrones’ Duo David Benioff & D.B. Weiss Exit Trilogy

I don’t think that’s possible.
Didn’t know Bill Burr was in it either.
Another weird thing: this is the first Star Wars live action show where the principal photography was all in the United States. Hadn’t really thought of that, but there it is.

You know what I mean...the films weren’t filmed here either, man.

Yeah, the only things I can think of are just VFX shots (Van Nuys & Marin County CA), and Jabba's sail barge (Arizona) and the Endor stuff (Redwood first CA) from EpVI, and maybe the odd pickup.

Rewatching #RogueOne and an reminded that it is definitely the best post OT movie, especially as a movie. Well paced, acted, written, etc... Just plain fun.

Reading the comments by D&D in the GOT thread makes me very happy they no longer have any involvement in SW.

Return of the Jedi is a really lousy movie. It's terrible, it stinks and it gets worse with age. It should not be lumped in with NH and ESB.
Star Wars discussion (SPOILERS INCLUDED)
Going to rewatch everything in order with the kids leading up to the new movie. Hoping to start this weekend with Ep 1, but it's not been easy getting in the right frame of mind knowing that Ep 2 is coming after that.
