I tried to get into the Rivers app. Their automated identity verification system couldn't recognize me despite me having been in and out of PA half my life. Waiting on a manual override.

The Rivers app is the same platform underneath as the Sugars one, fwiw.

They gave me a call back. Tried to confirm that I'm all the opposite things that I said in the voicemail which was funny after the third thing...

I said, "Hey, I'm mikey, I was given this number to reset my pin. I got my Rush Rewards account in a casino, in Pennsylvania...my number is..."

I get a call back saying exactly this, "Hello, this is such and such from SugarTits, did you get your pin all handled already?"

- No.

"Ok, let me have a look...you signed up online, right?"

- No.

"Oh ok, just a second...you're in New Jersey, right?"

- Nope.

After some further back and forth, she goes, try this number (which I successfully remembered all ten digits of without writing it down, maybe my proudest moment in seven months) if not, you'll have to come into the casino to do it...

Now, why the **** would I have to do that? I'm hooking you up into this bottomless bucket of sports betting losses...suck it right out of the balls of my bank account...just give me a new four digit number. I tried the only two four digits numbers I use for this kind of thing, somehow it's not that, which means you set it for me and now we're both beat...you dumb idiots...

Everything with Rivers is taking forever. Verification has been a day and it's not done. I imagine depositing is quick, but maybe not. Bonuses? Takes up to 72 hours to match your deposit.

...

So if I do their $250 match I won't get it in time for Sunday now. Thanks. Only thing keeping me interested is they have a 1x rollover requirement on that promo.

All of this stuff with Bovada took a few hours. Scanned my ID, provided it, they verified in a few hours. Deposit, automatic instantaneous match, boom, done.

This is why we do things offshore people.

Yup. I'm practically a citizen of Honduras with how much money I've run through them...I think I'm like three levels away from their like HOF, send a helicopter to pick me up level...if that's the path of least resistance, I won't hesitate...your move, dumb shits at SugarTits...

Beginning to think they do not want my business.

I bet on the Steelers to cover against the Pats, guys, you want some of my action...

Yes depositing is of course immediate. It takes a few days to "approve" your withdrawal request, then it takes a week or so to get your card where you can use anywhere they take Discover or just withdrawal your money from an ATM. Once you have the card I assume it's less painful to get your withdrawals added to it, but I'm not sticking around to find out. West Virginia has the Draftkings app now and it's 50x better. You're money gets put back into the same way you deposited.
So I leave the Rivers Casino Sportbook app +$150 and withdrew that on my vacation last week. It's been fun Rivers.

It's been a full week now and they haven't validated my ID. The casino is on my way home from work and I could probably drop in and get it fixed, but, that's not how this is supposed to work. I just deposited my money offshore instead. Numptys.

Converted on my first two football bets of the year.

That a run play would be the first Tampa play after the weather delay and u44.5 for the game total. Good start.

First bet of the year I put money in the Dolphins +18.5

It feels bad but it’s technically a smart play only because the line has moved a few points and that’s a cockton of points for a team at home

Actually just looked it up and it’s the most points a team has gotten at home in the last 12 years

Next red zone possession they got stuffed executing a fake field goal. They're losing 2-7 now. This is amusing in a sad kind of way.

Saturday’s matchup against Temple became a four-hour deflation of the enthusiasm that surrounded the new era at Maryland under Coach Michael Locksley.

The Terrapins’ offense had multiple opportunities to prove itself late in the fourth quarter but twice failed on fourth down just shy of the goal line, handing the Owls a 20-17 win at Lincoln Financial Field.
I can win $20 bets every week all weekend, but if I try to bet three figures this kind of stuff happens every...single...time.

You actually saved me from betting that. It looked too good to be true, but then I saw you put a big bid and I didn't want to be a mush for you, so I left it alone and just kept my loser Penn State bet haha

Four West coast teams playing on the road at 1 ET, that's usually a good place to make money. I took a small piece of Miami +20 (-135) vs New England because that's just too many points to ignore in an NFL home dog...

The Chargers played today like the wise guys got to them beforehand to throw the game. Had 2 touchdowns within 3 plays wiped out by penalties, missed 3 field goals, Rivers throws a pick in the end zone while in FG range with a chance to tie, defense gives up a 4th and 1 on a slant pass with 7 minutes left to lead to the Lions go-ahead TD. Errors like that are how bets are lost.

I hate the NFL at the beginning of the season. What looks smart ends up not even being close.

KC -6.5 seems like an ingenious way to lose a large sum of money this afternoon...
