They switched to two flags with the introduction of their third jersey last year. Also, kind of neat that each of their three jerseys will have a unique crest this year. When did they switch to two flags? It was always one flag, which is a tropical storm warning. Two flags means hurricane warning. It ground my gears for YEARS.

I just noticed the two flags in the C. It's like they kept fussing with it and wouldn't walk away. It's going to look even more jumbled with the C/A on it.

Replace CANES with the primary logo and that's a money jersey.

They have a hybrid rink situation...it's like 193 x 93 or some ****, I forget exactly...the league is more straightforward, grindy...unlike the KHL and SHL...

Isles swooped in and got him first. This is not a cultural match made in heaven, but both parties know how to play like losers with chips on their shoulders so they can bond over that.

I hope he has the balls to fire BBQ Bruce. I never understood why Fenton didn't can him last year.

Probably thought the roster was too weak to blame on a coach that does have a lot of regular season success...

Minnesota should just hire Guy Boucher, make the 8 seed every year and lean into being the worst part of the NHL. It’s really the best they can hope for in the long run.

Kuznetsov got a 4 year IIHF ban for testing positive for cocaine.
This after he claimed to never have taken an illegal drug in his life back in May.

It's tough to test positive for cocaine considering how quickly it exits your system...but, that's a very dumb thing to be banned for so long for...also, we'd lose roughly half the NHL population, maybe two-thirds, if this were "monitored" (for lack of a better term)...pointless nonsense where both parties are idiots...

Which means that if there is any NHL lockout during the next 4 years, Kuznetsov cannot be employed by any league under IIHF jurisdiction (including KHL).Kuznetsov got a 4 year IIHF ban for testing positive for cocaine.

Well, it won't stop...he's still gonna be traded. So there's that aspect. He's an RFA on a Finnish contract, so he can sign and be in the NHL by December 1 still...it's whether or not anyone will care by then is the question...

I commented before I looked it up and say that he had an out.
However, the people that trade for Puljujarvi aren't that bright so maybe they don't know what that means.
