New Quinnipiac poll shows Biden ahead by four points in Texas over Trump. I ask this again, people ITT actually believe Trump will win in 2020? I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell.

I think he wins if the Left continues to eat itself, especially their candidate with the best chance of beating Donny.

Former Broward County Sheriff's Deputy Scot Peterson -- who was criticized for how he responded when a gunman opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School -- has been charged with 11 counts, including felony child neglect charges, authorities said.
heh
"In order for there to be neglect, the individual must be a 'care taker' of the individual," Bell wrote. "Does that mean that every police officer from now on that works a detail where children are present are now subjected to child neglect charges if something happens?"

He said the union does not consider Peterson a coward.

Also fired was Sgt. Brian Miller, a supervisor on the day of the shooting, the sheriff's office said. Bell said the union will fight Miller's dismissal.

This is honestly the direction I am leaning towards. And even then I think Warren would still somehow win. Sanders I think he could beat because Sanders scares enough non-socialist liberals away.

Among Democratic voters, Biden more or less doubles up on Warren and Sanders, and is in the +8-10 range with Harris and Buttigieg. Of course, this far out these polls are really nothing much more than name recognition at work.

Current polling head-to-head v Trump

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epoll ... -6250.html
(Sanders avg +4.8)

(Warren avg +2)

(Harris avg +1.6)

(Biden avg +8.1)

The problem with Sanders and Warren is their appeal to rust belt and Midwest. They’d crush trump in NY and CA, but I think would lose by similar or larger margins than Clinton in the battleground states.

I don't necessarily disagree, but that comes with a multi-pronged caveat. Trump's combined Rust Belt margin was smaller than the crowd at a college football game; he carried Michigan, a state of 10 million people, by 10,000 votes. He has not done anything since taking office to expand that base, and has actually already eroded much if not all of the support of the what-have-you-got-to-lose crowd that are historically Democrat voters (I think he's underwater in all four states of the Blue Wall he flipped in '16). Remember also that this was the geography where the phenomenon of of the 'Sanders-Trump' voter was at its highest incidence.

And for as scary as Bernie or Warren might be, they are nothing compared to the fear of the idea of President HRC stoked in a lot of people. That advantage isn't going to be there next time out, and the coalition that swept him to office is already bailing.

That said..... 2020 is a long way off.

Elizabeth Warren (on some "town hall" event on PMSNBC now) is a far more attractive candidate than Bernie and they appear to have very similar platforms.

I don’t agree with much of her platform....but she’s no dummy. Her arguments are so much more compelling that Bernie’s “corporations are baaaaad, take their money” argument

My money would be on none of the three being the nominee.

Fairlife, a popular brand of ultrafiltered milk, will be pulled from shelves at all Jewel-Osco stores after an animal welfare group released an undercover video showing alleged abuse of calves at the milk company’s flagship dairy farm in Indiana, the grocery chain announced Wednesday.
