Would've been better if she started labor during the actual ceremony, but I suppose you can't be picky.

I need a judgment.
Our good friend (who works at the same place as my wife and is our daughter's godmother) stays at our house fairly often since her home is very far from their employer. Last night, she asked me if she could please use my PC first thing in the AM, and she just needed Chrome. It was something for work. I said, no problem.
This morning, after she left, I jump on my PC, and quickly realize that all of my cookies have been deleted. Now, her and my wife work for a very prominent financial institution, but IMO, if you ask to use someone's personal PC (especially someone that is family), you don't have the right to delete their effin cookies without making sure it is OK prior. Does she really think I am going to hack her sht and divulge secrets? Is this a violation?

A minor indignity and certainly not worth getting agitated over imo

That's a weird, socially wrong thing to do. You also can't bring it up because that's probably weirder and it's not egregious enough to justify...

interested in a hockey jersey listed on Sideline Swap. seller's listing is very vague - "27 practice jerseys, various sizes" and he's asking $30. I can't figure out if it's a lot sale or individually but that's not my issue. I message him asking about the royal blue Pens Elite jersey, wanting to know the size. he responds with, "I'm not sure." DUDE! you're wanting me to buy this from you. I'm going to want to know the F***KING SIZE!

What the eff happened to windshield wiper refills? When I first started driving, if your wipers were worn out, you went to the auto-parts store and bought refills that were just the rubber blade inserts for the existing wiper arm assemblies on your car. Usually even came in a two-pack. Just push together the little metal clip that holds the rubber blade in, slide the old one out, and thread in the new refill through all of the clips until it locks in place. While the stores usually did carry some replacements that included a new complete metal arm, those were in the minority. Now, when you go the wiper section, refills aren't available at all and the only way to replace wipers is to buy an entire blade assembly including either all of the metal arm parts or a "aero" blade where the rubber has a spring-loaded backing. Not only is it more expensive, it's far more wasteful.

I get that, but the Bosch Icon design is far superior to any standard frame wiper design ever created.

Yacht Rock sounds like a never-ending soundtrack to a late 70s/early 80s porn movie.

Returning to the office after a week out of town to multiple emails requesting things while I was away (as in one email requesting something, and a follow-up asking for a status). Hey dadholes, my out of office was on for a reason. Learn how to read.

Pursuant to the bad take discussion thread:
I got stuck behind a biker riding in the middle of Negley the other day. Would normally be fine, right?
Nope. This was the part of Negley with A F**KING SEPARATE BIKE LANE that this jag was ignoring.
You can't ask for more space to ride and then ignore said space. Atrocious.

I bought a used PC monitor on Amazon, as I'm building a cheap system for my sister. Get it in the mail today and open it up to find that it's not even close to the same model that I ordered. This was LCD-based, whereas the one I ordered was LED-based, it had the wrong input ports, etc. So now I have to return it (for free). This schmuck will not enjoy eating his shipping costs, but that's what he gets for borderline scamming people.

Nothing drove me crazier than the dadhole cyclists in the middle of the road going through South Park where there’s a **** trail and bike lane.Pursuant to the bad take discussion thread:

My daughter has a bunch of free games on her Kindle for trips - painting games, puzzles, **** like that. Since her Kindle sits powered off in our closet for months on end, and generally on airplane mode when in use, the "licenses" expire. So I have to launch every single app, let it grab a license, and then close it down. I have to do this before every single trip, and Amazon has provided no better way of automatically handling this. It's infuriating.

Yeah, it has to check that you are still Amazon Prime Kids members or something like that. Very annoying.

This happens in the paid apps, too, which is even worse. If I pay for an app, I should never, ever have to check back in ever again. Ever.
