If you are going to count the FCA giving as "anti-LGBT" than literally any money given to any Christian organization is "anti-LGBT".
At least we're being honest now. :thumb:

Related; "50% of Americans are church members, down from 70% in 1999." Ah, that's a pity.

Do women in their 20’s make their boyfriends go to ed sheeran concerts with them? Like...how are you supposed to carry yourself in that situation?

Ever have to hold the wife's purse while out shopping? I'd imagine it's like a few hours of that.

they tend to, yes. but purses go over shoulders. it's the bags from other stores that you hold.

the level of exhaustion from standing around and the foot pain and general bodily pain from walking around from store to store in the mall is way way way worse than any sort of pain from sports.

Use https://www.justwatch.com/us

MiMH recommended it and it's pretty great.

Based on the GoT thread, pretty sure meow wants to binge watch Paul Blart movies and see if he has time for Grown Ups.

I don’t think I shared any opinions in the GoT thread. I had a problem with you talking down your nose to most everyone else

I actually don't think it is any different percentage, I think it is people being honest with pollsters. Besides 50% is massive when you think about people involved in organized groups, and it is way more than it was in 1776.

I watched a webinar about all of the newish books about D-Day coming out this year, in time for the 75th anniversary. Pretty cool stuff.

Then the publisher threw this little gem in at the end of his presentation:

I'm wondering though if they bothered to ask the percentage that claim to be members but also go on a regular basis. for instance, I'm still a member of my childhood church but I only go once a year, on Christmas Eve.

Most pollsters consider "once a month" attendance as regular membership. I'd say that if they asked that question and made regular mean 50 out 52(53) weeks of a year I'd put the percentage around 10%.

Outside of summer vacations, we never missed Sunday school and church. Granted that was 40 years ago but I would think it's more then 10% these days that show up every week.

I think people just travel more in general now. Families live further apart, etc. It's not uncommon to have stretches of three or four weeks where we are not at church.
