Especially since they'll have to protect him in the expansion draft due to him playing...
The goal right now is to beat the Calgary Flames. Makar helps make that a reality. Play Makar.
He's going to be a stud, if they win and he helps them win it's a no brainer.

Thornton with a headshot that should get him 2. We’ll see if he gets to use the Steckel, “I’m a big clumsy idiot. I know not what I do” argument.
Only 1.

"Jagr Extraleague Quest 2019" after 9 out of 12 rounds:

Jagr's Kladno Knights 8 points up with 3 games to play (i.e. 9 points "in play"). Two of those games will be against teams with nothing to play for...

1. HC Dynamo Pardubice 9 8 0 0 1 40:17 24
2. Rytíři Kladno 9 6 0 0 3 24:22 18
*****
3. Piráti Chomutov 9 3 0 1 5 20:32 10
4. HC Motor České Budějovice 9 0 1 0 8 15:28 2

After going without a single point in the first 3 games, Jagr is now 6+3 in the last 6 games (including 2 GWG), and averages nearly 18 minutes/game...

Meh, play him. Plus it's not like the Avs have a bunch of D that have a NMC/NTC. Erik Johnson is the only player that currently has one.

Piss on the CBJ but I have to admit I’d smile if some team from a non traditional secondary US market took down JOHNNY TORONTO and the Leafs. HOLY MACKINAW!!!!

As long as the Caps don't repeat and the Bruins are eliminated, I'm good with whatever team wins the Cup.

Obviously, I'd love to see Vegas win because of Fleury. Calgary would be cool, too.

Listen to one Spittin' Chiclets podcast and you'll add Boston to your list.

Anyone from the west is cool with me.

I would hate to lose the incredibly easy "1967" chirp to Leafs fans.

There is only one bracket left out of over 30,000 on r/hockey that still has a chance to be 100% correct. The title is "lolwat" and the goal tiebreaker for the Final is "1 goals"

CSKA Moscow up 3:0 in the KHL finals series against Avangard Omsk (coached by Bob Hartley). If they indeed close the series, this iconic team will capture the Russian title for the first time in...
30 freakin' years! Yes, despite winning 33(!) league titles, CSKA won the last time in 1989, when it was still Soviet Union League.

Well, aren't we both winning the "Money Pool" at schreibdog.com so far, thanks to our genius strategy to pick against the over-bought hometown favorites?

(Of course, given that I picked Tampa Bay to win it all, I'll be falling down the rankings like a rock soon...)

What's the deal with this Nikita Gusev business? Didn't think you could sign once the playoffs started and be eligible to play.

I think as long as you've been drafted by the club you can sign and be eligible
