The British actor who plays the bespectacled 'evil Q' in the new Jag commercials was on Top Gear recently. When he explained how most of the stunts were practical, I was in disbelief. Here's hoping there is a big showing at the box office and it turns out as beautiful as it looks. It's a post apocalyptic chase movie. Done with mostly all real stunts. I suppose those of us that enjoy the first 3 realize the insanity/magic of these movies.

Kind of like the Mission Impossible series, which has has had over $2B in box office receipts?what is the point of this mad max movie? is there really a fan base waiting for it? i know of the series, but I've never been interested in watching it. this looks like desert motocross. anyone under 35 will think its the California Love music video.

After Miller showed a clip at sxsw, apparently Robert Rodriguez asked during the Q&A "how the f*** did you film this?" I'm looking forward to the bluray special features. There are some great articles out there with George talking about how the stunt guys put everything together, specifically the craziness with the guys on the poles. The British actor who plays the bespectacled 'evil Q' in the new Jag commercials was on Top Gear recently. I've never enjoyed a car chase in a movie, except maybe in the Naked Gun.
But that sure looks beautiful.

Oh, I think chase scenes in movies can be incredible things.
Okay, top five chases in cinema history. Doesn't have to be cars.
Indy chasing the Nazis on the white horse (pitch perfect in every component, plus one of the most iconic stunts in movie history)
Bullitt (one of the best action sequences ever; nearly 11 minutes of nothing but sound effects and tire smoke)
Escape from the Death Star (basically changed the way action movies were edited [sound and picture] and scored)
Bourne Identity chase through Paris (pure adrenaline)
The French Connection (still effective today)

To be clear, we are talking about the 1994 Sheen movie right? Because I found that enjoyable and have rewatched it several times when it's shown up on a random movie channel.

Yes, that movie. The way it lampoons the media is awesome, it's also what set me on the BMW path which is irrational and unrelated really. But I daily drive that car in black.
The cast is sneaky good, too.

Wolfcop was bad. I knew it wasn't going to be good, but it had very entertaining moments. Not even a so bad it's good movie. I turned it off with 15 minutes left and it was 79 minutes long.
