IASIP:

I skipped all last season since I didn't have anywhere to stream it, I think. Watching S13E1 and the addition of Mindy Kaling to the cast is really bad, regardless of when it happened.
That was her first and hopefully last episode.

You have to find season 12. Some very good episodes.

I thought I watched S12 but the opening to S13 was so abrupt I can't remember, honestly.

Yeah, checked the episode guide. I've seen it. Was just confused because S13E1 was so disjointed. That said I literally lol'd a few times so, great.

It's also harder to watch with the Soap Opera Effect with the new TV; really changes the feel of the show. Makes it look cheap like an old British comedy; think the production value of Fawlty Towers.

Very much this.

Have you tried changing your setting to see if another one works better? I didn't disable it entirely on my sets because one of the settings actually looked terrific without the soap opera effect.

So just finished Jack Ryan this morning. For an Amazon/TV Series, was pretty good. Super cliche, super Captain America-ee (he'd randomly just think for a second and have their whole plan figured out), but it was a good watch.

That was a classic Sunny episode. The gang arguing overtop of each other, hating Dee, Dee wanting nothing more than to be accepted by them and going to such a ridiculous length that the gang finally recognizes her but only because her insanity worked out in their favor. Good stuff.

I haven’t started with it yet, but I’m enough of a Norm fan that I will cancel Netflix if they pull the plug because of his comments.

Just watched the first episode and it might be my favorite show of all time. It's like they turned Kramer hosting the Merv Griffin Show in his apartment into a series and just replaced him with Norm.

I laugh my ass off at Norm’s show. Mrs meow doesn’t get it and doesn’t even crack a smile. We’ve apparently hit a rough patch in our marriage.

In the Magnum P.I. reboot, Higgins is a babe ex-Mi6 operator or analyst or something. And judging by CG (or rather, 'CG') in the commercials, they are going for an Uncharted kind of vibe.

Also bringing up the hypostatic union as a dividing line on Christ with Jane Fonda was unexpected, but brilliant.

One of our shows had just ended, and that was the first 5 minutes of the Emmy's that I think I have ever watched live. I thought it was pretty nice moment.

I must be cynical because I thought it was super cringey.

He leaned a bit too much on the my-dead-mom thing, but it was pretty incredible.

Wait, he invoked his dead mom in a marriage proposal? And then put his SO on the spot in front of a live national audience.

Can you imagine if she did anything but say "yes" immediately? The levels of cringe would have been astronomical. I wonder if they planned it in advance.

I don't know what made me think of this today, but I think I'm going to re-watch the entire Airwolf series. I loved that show as a kid, and the theme song was catchy as hell.

I caught the first episode of Norm Macdonald's new show on Netflix with David Spade. Absolutely hilarious.
