I like 'Om and he's clearly painted himself into a corner so I'm going to just let him sit there; not going to engage him anymore on this.

I like to get in a pack of three or four cars going 80 or 85 on the turnpike and just let 'er rip.

Didn't OM originally say he slowed down when people tail gaited him? Did we change the argument mid-argument?

Yeah, I don't really know what happened. I look like an idiot on these last two pages.

I used to drive 80-85 on the PATP years ago, but after a number of tickets, changed it up. Now I just cruise around 75-78 in the right lane unless I need to pass somebody.

About 15 years ago I volunteered to drive myself and two other managers to a meeting in philly(where I lived before moving back to the burgh). My passengers remarked that not one single car passed us on the way.

West Chester
I’ve probably driven exit 57-314 on the turnpike over a hundred times. Fastest I ever made it tollbooth to tollbooth was about 3.5 hours.

I slow down, but it's not much. From 36ish to 34ish in a 35mph zone. I don't brake check anyone or do it in a dramatic fashion which could cause any unsafe conditions. I just ease off the gas pedal a bit. All they need to do is obey the laws and it's all fine.Escalation of a incident coupled with a smug sense of self-satisfaction.
I'm not a tail-gater, I just identify that behavior as 'reverse tailgating' and just as abhorrent as tailgaters, if not worse because it's provoking an unsafe condition.

I have a 1:72 F-4 Phantom diecast model of Randy Cunningham's Showtime 100 jet (look it up). I kept it on my desk at work, and after I got let go they shipped all my stuff to me. I unpacked Showtime and the other diecasts I had there right away, and I noticed that one of the AIM-9 missile rails for the Phantom was missing. Didn't think much of it until this morning, when I decided to go through all the boxes to find that bit. Nowhere to be found, it's gone. So went to the model site where I purchased it to see about getting a replacement only to find that model has been discontinued.
I'm irked.
I mean, I could've avoided this calamity by not getting fired. But f--k.

We're paying Verizon for the fastest internet speed available but I can't even get 1 MB of download speed in my room when someone else is on the Wifi.

You need a new router, possibly new modem as well.

Verizon doesn't use modems, but yeah, it could be the router (or config if it's not a Verizon-branded router).

microwaves
arent we at the point in a technological society that all microwaves can be programmed the same way
microwaves where you have to press COOK TIME first should be destroyed immediately

Anyone that rents a router deserves a crap network.Verizon doesn't use modems, but yeah, it could be the router (or config if it's not a Verizon-branded router).

We bought a router that should have been able to handle the speeds we are getting.
Apparently it's not as effective as we thought.
