It's been about three weeks...I have enough of everything to go about 3-4 weeks and won't have to re-use much...maybe a couple of dress pants for outfit coordination...but I have clothes...
Well, I mean, not no mo' because my unmentionables are in the f*cking broke ass, joke ass washing machine...so it's freeball Saturday tomorrow...

so while I was away, somebody took the liberty of cutting my lawn. While this might sound like a good gesture, they only did half of it.
I'm kinda pissed... actually, I'm very pissed because a) why the **** would somebody cut half of a lawn, b) stay the **** off my lawn, and c) prior to leaving town, it was only two and a half days since I last cut it. Sure, I was away from early Friday and didn't get back until about half an hour ago, but when I left the grass was at a very reasonable length. So yes, it was maybe 5-6 days but even the spots that were uncut weren't high.

don't think it's the neighbors beside me. I live in a row of townhouses where I'm the corner lot. The neighbors, who I'm on good terms with all of them, all pay some random dude to buzz the 10x10 patch in front of their front door. I'm thinking they didn't do it, mostly because the lot beside mine looks untouched, as does the one beside that one.like one of your neighbors cut it?
The group across the street uses a guy that kinda does a majority of the neighborhood. He has come to me before about their service, and I told them I wasn't paying $100/month to cut the corner lot that is maybe a 30 ft triangle. Everybody across the street uses him. If I were a gambling man, I would say it was his crew. He has made some shitty comments to me before even after 2-3 days of not cutting my grass. Typically I cut it after 5-6 days providing it hasn't rained. If it gets past that point, I wait for the first dry day, so it's not like there are waist-high weeds. They might be slightly past ankle high at their worst day.

Sounds like you should spike your yard with iron rods and let their mowers hit it.

Held the elevator at work today for a woman who could barely walk. She apologized for walking so slowly, I said that was ok, she didn't need to apologize.
She proceeded to tell me she desperately needs a dual hip replacement. But her insurer (Aetna) has denied her claim twice, claiming all she needed was physical therapy. Her doctor keeps fighting with Aetna. She said he told her that her hips were the worst he's seen in all his years of practice. He had her get second and third opinions, just to boost her chances of getting the surgery. She did, they concurred with the first doctor.
This poor woman can barely walk. I hate insurance companies.
