Yeah our daughter is really tall for her age...she was always around 70th percentile weight and 99th percentile height for the first few years of her life. She still towers over her classmates but it seems to be getting closer. The best advice which you are already aware of is to stock up on bigger clothes but don't buy a lot of any one size.

We had a 9 month visit this morning. Both my kids were/are the same. Mid-teens in height and weight. 80s for head size. I have lollipops for kids..

I'm glad we didn't have much in terms of newborn stuff because she came home from the hospital barely fitting into newborns. Sent half of the newborn stuff to my sister who had a premie child (only by a few weeks) so that she can wear them.

Also, at 6 weeks old, I'm fully aware it was an accident, but last night I looked down at here and she looked back at me, and I said "you should be sleeping". She immediately flipped me the bird. I was in tears I was laughing so hard.

My oldest daughter is nearing the point where she may end up being taller than me, which isn't exactly a big accomplishment.

My kid has a total case of senioritis. At risk of failing calc. Believe he thinks just because he is accepted to the college he wanted he’s done. Uh...... you don’t go without that high school diploma son!

Tomorrow is the last day of in house soccer for the summer here in the vlb household. Still a few more weeks of travel. The picnic is next week or the week after; this is a youth soccer league and they always have 2-3 kegs of beer for the parents. Idk how they kill those kegs every year.

Making second of three trips in a little over a month to Myrtle Beach this weekend. Two weeks ago for basketball; this weekend for volleyball; two weeks from now for basketball again. I'm gonna be Dirty Myrtle'd out.

Wife pulled the damn bait and switch this morning. I was sitting on the couch, eating my breakfast and she texts me "You should come see your daughter before you leave... she's in a very good mood and smiling non-stop". Alright. I go up because I want to see it. Wife says "she spit up on me, I have to go change my shirt, can you change her diaper?" Sure, no problem...
All through her sleeper, all up her back, all over her... just everywhere. Awesome.

So my wife is at 19 weeks and I feel like I haven't done anything yet, we find out the gender here in a few weeks, but is there anything I should be doing before that?

I felt the same way... honestly, what can you do? As long as the kid has a place to sleep and you've got clothes and diapers for it (wait for the baby shower, you'll get plenty of that stuff) there's not a whole lot more you can do other than get your hobbies in now. You have no idea how much time you were spending on other stuff until after the kid shows up.

lol oh I believe it. I've heard nothing but you're losing time and sleep. I just feel like I'm not doing anything now, but I have no idea what to prepare for some I'm just taking it as it comes.

I've actually been drunk every weekend for the past month, and I wasn't a real heavy drinker, to begin with. So I've def noticed an uptick in consumption.are you drinking whiskey? So my wife is at 19 weeks and I feel like I haven't done anything yet, we find out the gender here in a few weeks, but is there anything I should be doing before that?

Do whatever you want. Once the kids start coming, that “do whatever you want” time is a precious commodity

Good god why couldn’t graduation have been in the morning? Mrs Franchise is a nervous basket case. Won’t quit talking and now is vacuuming for no apparent reason. I am in hiding for now. Going to get in trouble but will be worth it.
