One goalie goes over and above to make the plays necessary and one goalie can't get the big stop when necessary. Difference in the series so far.

Watching Vegas just totally shut down the Jets breakout, I think we Pens fans are spoiled at how well our D move the puck and how well our centers can move through all theee zones

Interesting take on the radio here in Nashville. One of the local hosts said watching Fleury play made him blame Rinne more for the Predators loss. He said that Fleury was stealing games for Vegas and that Pekka didn't do that for the Predators.

I cannot fathom why people would hate Vegas

They dont have any super dirty players, they're new so they can't be anyone's rivals and they're an expansion team that wasn't expected to do dick this season

It’s 2 things. And it’s really obvious.

1) the hockey fan community is built on jealousy. Largely because the same teams keep winning and so many teams have never won in the modern era. So why should this new team get to win when everyone else has suffered

2) Everyone blames tanking teams and draft lottery fortune for why other teams win and they don’t. Vegas now places the blame inward - to the players and executives that have failed for decades. And they even gave Vegas their players. So basically, Vegas is forcing fans to blame their OWN teams instead of everyone else. People don’t handle this well.

So instead of facing these issues like grown ups, they root against the most remarkable team achievement they’ve ever seen.

I don’t know what meow’s excuse is though.

I like the Vegas Golden Knights. Can't think of any really good reasons (except MAF). I just like to watch em play. Vegas and Tampa would be great, with Vegas winning in 7.

I like Vegas. I like MAF. Vegas is fun to watch. Them winning would be an unreal story that would never be matched. Florida’s role in making Vegas good is hilarious. **** Florida. I like Vegas. I don’t like the yinzers who use their success as a reason why we shouldve kept Fleury instead of Murray.
