Fleetwood Mac Fires Lindsey Buckingham
Fleetwood Mac has fired Lindsey Buckingham after a disagreement over the band's upcoming tour, Rolling Stone has confirmed. The band announced Monday that Mike Campbell of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Neil Finn of Crowded House will replace him.

Why We Love It When Fleetwood Mac Keep Breaking Up
Any band can explode a time or three, but only these guys could break up continuously for 40 years, putting each other through untold agonies and then always coming back together for more punishment.
Only these five gypsies could keep getting hit with the same lightning bolt over and over, electroshocking each other into eternity.
They undermined each other's speeches – Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and Christine McVie all mocked Stevie Nicks as she spoke – before playing a set of five classic breakup songs, ending with (what else?) "Go Your Own Way." You couldn't have scripted a better final scene.
Even John McVie, who has never shown any visible aspiration to rule anything besides his bass and the occasional ballcap, is tangled in the breakup history. Imagine playing that funk bass line on "You Make Loving Fun" – then imagine you're playing it for a song your ex-wife wrote about her new guy, who is the band's lighting director.
During the making of Rumours, Mick Fleetwood called Stevie Nicks into the studio parking lot to tell her they were cutting "Silver Springs" from the album, for no reason except everybody else was mad at how good it was.
It can barely be overstated how bizarre it is that "Tusk" was a Number One single. I mean, cocaine was popular in the 1970s, but not that popular.
Never going back again. I'm so thankful I got to see them live a few years ago.

Oh man...I was really hoping to see them in their entirety before they get too old to tour. Not nearly as interested without LB :(

I always thought he was a big lefty? Especially in the Smiths days?

I've been trying to expand my horizons a bit into some modern stuff, so I decided to listen through To Pimp a Butterfly on my commute into and back from work yesterday. Lamar definitely has a ton of talent, no doubt about that...I'm glad that the rap album interludes have carried over from the 90s

Shad jamming out to the anthem of the BLM movement.

I think randomly a rap song will resonate with me, Backstreet Freestyle is one of those song from his prior album.

When KL performed on the Grammys a year or two ago, I had no idea who he was or what his music was about. Watching the performance, I had nothing close to even resembling a clue as to what I was seeing, but it was amazing and I was transfixed.

We went to the 2014 pitchfork festival, and he closed it out. It was my impression, up until that show, that live rap is usually not good. But he had a full band and it was great.

By all accounts, if he was going to win a Pulitzer, it should have been for TPAB.

The Horse rode again last night, sans Poncho Sanpedro - but with Nils Lofgren (!) in his place. Brief California tour this week, and Neil streamed last night's show on his website.
