Today or yesterday? Because that is a transcript of yesterdays show so if it happened again today, well, double yoi.Tuned in Madden for first time since June to hear some hockey talk.

Anyone here have Murphy as their congressman?
http://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/0 ... ess-243456Embattled Rep. Tim Murphy is weighing his political future as pressure mounts on the Pennsylvania Republican to resign.
Murphy met privately with Speaker Paul Ryan on Wednesday, according to GOP sources. Numerous top Republicans want Murphy to step down amid a report that the married, anti-abortion congressman suggested his mistress terminate an apparent pregnancy.

I wouldn't expect them to handle a 10-1 loss.

Pirate Prospects guy on twitter wondering the sustainability of his site due to lack of interest in the Pirates. Who would've thought a subscription based site with poorly written articles centered around prospects for a small market team with a fickle fan base would be a narrow opportunity?
The number of subscription sites popping up can't help things though. It's one thing to pay for pretty specific stuff like that when general coverage of teams/news is free but as a lot of places want you to pay for the most basic stuff it gets annoying. How many subscription sites is the average person really going to want to carry?
I think the whole cord cutting is starting to get into this area too. Everyone is popping up offering their own streaming service but at the rate its going you'll have 10 subscription services you're paying for each month and it'll cost even more.

Yep. Seems like everyone is writing for a subscription sports site. There are only so many that can exist.Pirate Prospects guy on twitter wondering the sustainability of his site due to lack of interest in the Pirates. As for streaming/cordcutting, it's in a transition period now. Like you said, everyone has their own streaming service, soon they will figure out they can now make money, start charging, and if you want to get what you had in a cable bundle, you'll be subscribed to 50 streaming services and paying a more money.
If you only want a few channels and can live with that, then good. If you still want an array of channels, especially with sports, it will suck and be more expensive.

Wish there was a way all these video subscription services could be aggregated into one box and not use my internet service.
Oh, wait. I'm good.

DK is "selling" his platform with a licensing fee. Does he realize his website is pretty much just a wordpress theme? Actually I just checked - it's wordpress.
He wants to sell his theme to other people...seriously...

Total pettiness to get people to compete with the Athletic. They're now enemy #1.

Yep, just like cord cutting. Everyone wants their own piece of the pie and then you have ten different subscription sites and its like cable bundles all over again.Pirate Prospects guy on twitter wondering the sustainability of his site due to lack of interest in the Pirates. Fickle fanbase yes, but with good reason...
Poni and Cookie today:
Poni: "Bell basically said the coaches were wrong about the gameplan"
Cookie: "No he didn't say that all"
Poni: "Pretty much he did"
Cookie disagrees again with his voice rising and then have to go a break..lol just amazing radio.

Listened to 3 seconds of Madden today. He was screaming about getting his lawyer to sue a guy for libel. Changed the radio before I got off my level of the garage.
