lol, I was immensely frustrated but I'm over it. I had a frigging monster team in our league this year--my matchup luck was absolutely terrible (+73 point differential, 5-7 record....unreal). In terms of a playoff roster, I think I definitely had one of the Top 2 rosters, but just couldn't put together enough wins to make it.Troy Loney wrote:shafnutz05 wrote:Every week, the team Troy Loney is playing has their worst week of the season
It's absolutely incredible. He is going to be 9-3 with over a hundred fewer points than I've scored
lololol...I can't believe I beat you. I was purposely not looking at it after my thanksgiving day disaster ~1 point from Demarco Murray and Tony Romo. This has to be one of the like .05% of matches won by a team that started Romo at QB.
This week, for example. With the Thanksgiving holiday never got around to taking Stewart out. He didn't have a bad game, necessarily, but I really would have rather had Spencer Ware in there.
Then, the weekend comes. Todd Gurley has been red hot, right? Even in that crappy offense, I couldn't bring myself to bench him for Ware, and the rest is history. And Derek Carr had a lousy outing last week, so I figured I'd ride the hot hand in Brees. 40 point swing there.
I'm encouraged because I do feel like I built an incredible fantasy roster (I think last week every single one of my position players was #7 or above at their respective positions), but it just didn't come together. I want to hate you for the incredibly fortuitous season you've had, but I guess that's fantasy.
