Just imagine if Kamala was elected… eggs would be $20, gas $4 a gallon, the stock market would be done 10000, and brown people would be killing everyone.

Well they are certainly doing a bang up job of that.

One thing that's rattling around my brain with all the talk about impeaching this judge.... one of the core missions of the US Marshals Service is Article I protective services. That includes courtroom and detainee security, but it also means they act as the Secret Service for the federal judiciary. And the USMS is one of the agencies that is being weaponized in this DOGE nonsense. If security details are suddenly rogue agents at a time of heightened threat....I don't know, it just has a bad ring in my head.

President Donald Trump fired two Democratic commissioners at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission on Tuesday, in another major test of the independence of regulatory agencies.
"Illegally gutting the Commission will empower fraudsters and monopolists, and consumers will pay the price," said Senator Amy Klobuchar, a Democrat from Minnesota, in a statement.
The FTC enforces consumer protection and antitrust laws, and has a bipartisan structure where no more than three of the five commissioners can come from the same party.

The U.S. Supreme Court in 1935 upheld a law allowing the firing of FTC commissioners only for good cause, such as neglecting their duties. The ruling shields several independent, bipartisan multi-member agencies from direct White House control.

Trump finally going to sign the EO to work toward shutting down the department of education.
White House spokesman Harrison Fields said in a statement that the order “will empower parents, states and communities to take control and improve outcomes for all students.”
Maybe to empower communities and parents they’ll create some kind of board that will establish rules and policies for the schools. Hopefully that board would be made up of citizens who have a vested interest in the schools. And maybe the states will be able to establish a curriculum that’s more localized. I’m just happy the department of education will no longer be in charge of these things.

School boards are governed locally. Not sure what you're talking about.

Mwb, I like that idea. And might I just add, to make sure this “board” represents the will of the local populace rather than some woke DEI dude lady at the department of education, they should be elected positions by people living in that district.

Wtf man... This administration does multiple things a day that Republicans would be screaming for impeachment about if the roles were reversed.

“I think if you want to learn something on this show tonight, buy Tesla!” Lutnick continued. “It’s unbelievable that this guy’s stock is this cheap, it’ll never be this cheap again. When people understand the things he’s building, the robots he’s building, the technology he’s building — people will be dreaming of today and Jesse Watters and thinking, ‘gosh, I should have bought Elon Musk’s stock!’ I mean, who wouldn’t invest in Elon Musk? You gotta be kidding.”

It's all a grift with these guys. How do they line their pockets? Yes, wealth inequality is pretty close to an all-time high. How do we break that record and hoard everything in a handful of folks?

He can look at a computer -- I try turning off this guy’s ... I turn off his laptop ... and I go back five minutes later he’s got his laptop. I said, ‘How’d you do that?' 'None of your business, dad.' He’s got an unbelievable aptitude in technology.
Baron might have high aptitude in technology, I don't know... but did the POTUS in an interview with Fox News pretty much say he has no idea how to turn a laptop on or off?
