Get ready for Bourbon toasts, and the new brunch cocktail of choice, Kentucky Bourbon
”If this Tariff is not removed immediately, the U.S. will shortly place a 200% Tariff on all WINES, CHAMPAGNES, & ALCOHOLIC PRODUCTS COMING OUT OF FRANCE AND OTHER E.U. REPRESENTED COUNTRIES. This will be great for the Wine and Champagne businesses in the U.S."

People should only want things made in America. The rest of the world can’t produce things as good or better.

Who needs real champagne when you can buy Eric Trump-signed bottles of "sparkling wine" here at home?

https://itep.org/tesla-reported-zero-fe ... x-in-2024/

What a **** surprise. Corporate welfare.
Tesla, the most valuable automaker in the world valued at over $1 trillion, did not pay any federal income tax last year.

Tesla’s annual financial report, released this morning, shows the company enjoyed $2.3 billion of U.S. income in 2024 on which it reports precisely zero current federal income tax. Over the past three years, the Elon Musk-led company reports $10.8 billion of U.S. income on which its current federal tax was just $48 million. That comes to a three-year federal tax rate of just 0.4 percent – more than 50 times less than the statutory corporate tax rate of 21 percent.

A federal judge on Thursday ordered multiple government agencies, including Veterans Affairs, Treasury and the USDA, to offer fired probationary federal workers their jobs back.
Why it matters: The ruling is the latest blow for the White House in the courts. At least 30,000 probationary workers have been fired — a few federal agencies have called these workers back, but most are still not working.

This isn't unique to Tesla, of course. But coming as it does with DOGE running around sh**ting is everyone's Cheerios while the Tesla CEO is guffawing on stage with a chainsaw like a madman is a bit...... how you say......... much.
