Letang and even Malkin easily are playing to what they are being paid.

In terms of Malkin in the top 6, I’d love to see him move to wing and play with a high end center. It would take a lot of the onus off of him and I think he would thrive

I’m not saying he’s dumb. Just that he has room for improvement with his hockey IQ.

Of course I’ve seen more Kris Letang than any other dman so maybe it’s just bias but it feels like compared to other really good Pens dmen we’ve had over the years, he’s more likely to have a “what the hell were you thinking” turnover

Letang is willing to take a risk more than most of the players that we have had over the years. And i think he's been allowed to do so.

He's on the ice for half the game so you see more of him than anyone else

I like both Letang and Malkin, but they are also the two knuckleheads who combined to put the puck into their own open net last year. :lol:
