I never liked the deal to begin with and, now that he's here, I like it even less.

I forgot it was an early game today, so I missed the game. Which seems to have been a stroke of luck.

If by some stroke of luck they do, it'll be one and done. I'll happily eat crow if it isn't.

This team had to go at least above .500 on this road trip. That looks like it’s not going to happen. For me, you start selling a lot of guys on the team. Open up cap space and be
super aggressive with it in the summer and start fresh next year. There’s still enough talent on the team with hopefully some young legs coming up to turn this team into a good one again

But when I say aggressive, I mean signing Rantanen or Marner in free agency to help take a lot of the onus off of Sid

That's 3 in 4 shot. 24 of 32 teams fall into this bucket.

I feel like Linus waiting in the pumpkin patch for the Great Pumpkin. They play a great game against the Oilers and weather the late storm and then go back to their bungling ways afterwards. Then they play their best game of the season against LA and you think, 'well, the rest of this road trip is against some pretty unimpressive teams, this could be their chance to get back close to the line'. Nope, fooled again. I'm the blockhead. Start the sell-off and then like Trip says, get aggressive with that raised cap in the offseason.
