Passes are not "events" according to the NHL.

first priority has to be Jarry (and sometimes Ned) actually getting past the 5th shot of the game without letting one in. when your goalie lets in the 1st or 2nd shot of the game, you are are left chasing the game and your team has no confidence in you. add to that that Pens goalies have ZERO shutouts this season. there's only one other team in the entire NHL that doesn't have a SO this season:

I think that speaks volumes.

I'm not sure about that. We can't blow that many leads if we're always chasing
