I'm guessing "retired" since Jagr is still technically active?

But it does end him at 2018 so HOF makes sense.

2 more years. 80 to pass Mario. 102 to pass Yzerman....

I'm going to say he likely passes Dionne barring any issues. 80% he passes Francis. Unsure he keeps playing after 2 years so don't think he's catching Howe

If he did 3 more years at point per game after this season - tall order - he could get Jagr.

Let’s say Sid goes 85-75-65. Reasonable if healthy. That puts him at 1,821 (5th)

If he plays two more after that he gets to 2nd.

He could also get 100 next year when he’s on a line with rantanen and marner

I didn't realize how close he was to Mario. That will be a monster event next year

He’s not retiring until he scores the GWOTG vs Philthy, for career point number 1987. 😉

Hey, this reminds me that Mikey owes me ;)

I say 1800 and a top 5 finish is feasible. There’s a chance he gets frustrated playing on a terrible Penguin squad and peters out before hitting 1800. But I can also see him grinding into his mid-40s and possibly hitting 2k

Perhaps I’ll just look you up next time I’m in NY and you can buy me a beer

Missed this anniversary yesterday. It simultaneously feels like ancient history and like it just happened yesterday. Getting old is weird.

19 years ago? Wow

I guess this stuff doesn’t seem that long ago because Sid and geno are still on the team. Crazy that this is Crosbys 20th season

To me it feels like a lifetime ago because this was before we had won any cups with this core
