Expecting Cat 2 hurricane winds overnight here; our house has shaken less during earthquakes than it is right now from the gusts. Yeehaw.

I did it once, yesterday, because the forecast said the snow was effectively done. Woke up today and the roads were covered again.

I'm not shoveling it again.

We are supposed to have a couch delivered today so I at least have to clear a path in our driveway to the garage so they can get it into the basement.

Sounds like we're complaining about incorrect predictions. :|

Don't get me wrong, I understand the challenges of meteorology. But with the constant self-congratulations the local news weather teams blanket themselves in it's frustrating when they're wildly and completely wrong so often.

It's funny. I don't really see it snowing that much, but every time I look out there's a new 1/2 of snow on the ground.

My parents were supposed to drive up from Tennessee tomorrow to celebrate Christmas. Very glad they postponed their trip. Obviously the temps are brutal, but the unpredictability of the conditions would've made for a nasty travel and visit.

Maybe we'll do Christmas in July.

Models are starting to agree that this thing is going out to sea off of NC/SC. Very doubtful

3" just East of Atlanta. that's pretty decent for us. afterwards, they were expecting an additional 1/2" of ice. so far I've just peeked out my front door but roads looks pretty decent. hoping I can make it to my hockey game tonight.

Pretty sure it has snowed at least a little every day so far in 2025.

TWC keeps sending winter weather advisories that call for another 2-3”. Well you said yesterday morning 2-3” total and we keep getting 2-3 more!

I’d say we got 5 or 6 just overnight.
