Yeah. I know the guy that developed the product and was going to ask him. I'll do anything except RTFM in this case.

To be faaaaaaiiiiiiiirrrr, the manual is embedded in the product that I couldn't get to work.

Got "busted" by corporate IT for using Rufus to create bootable ISOs.

Corporate: just got an alert on your workstation for Rufus-whateverversion.exe
Me: I was looking to make a bootable ISO. It's been my go-to since like 2017.
Corporate: well Crowdstrike flagged it. I wonder why we got alerted if you use it all the time.
Me: that's really weird. Crowdstrike even recommends using Rufus for bootable ISOs. (https://www.crowdstrike.com/wp-content/ ... ISOs-1.pdf)
Corporate: maybe it's the version that you're using. We'll look into it and get back to you.

Worth mentioning that I had just downloaded it from their site yesterday since I wanted a new version. My prior version was from January 2024.

My manager is visiting this week. I gave him a heads up in case anything comes of it. His reaction was him laughing and "did you try using it on a computer that is off the network?"

Our security team whined about me sending myself PowerShell code via e-mail (working on something at home and we disable copy/paste in Citrix). So dumb, but whatever, now I won't work on that **** on my own time.

I was ***** at for having a Java JDK past version 1.3 because the newer versions have an Oracle license and was told not to communicate with Oracle if they contact me. Never heard anything past that. Not sure why they would contact me as I used my personal email when I downloaded it.

I can't tell if this is the dumbest question of all time or if I'm just not expressing it correctly.

There is an app called eHub. It is not my app. I want to make a walkthrough/user guide for it with screenshots and bull****. I want to do so on a Windows PC. There is no "emulator" or something similar to accomplish this?

Granted, if it was my code, it does seem much more doable. But in this situation, it's just tough ****...?

Years ago I was working on a mobile website and used something from here:

https://developer.android.com/studio/run/emulator

I believe you need an apple computer for a iPhone emulator (or that's the way it used to be).

Not sure about the emulator route, but your phone has a button shortcut for screenshots, no? Could just take screenshots and then upload them to your google drive account or something.

There used to be an Android emulator built into Kali.

I am an Android user already. iPhones/Apple are wack af. But that's interesting that Android seems to have something useful but Apple has nothing powerful or useful (standard).

The steps towards a VM seem far less compelling than just asking someone with an iPhone to let me borrow it. I cannot believe there isn't a more suitable way of doing this...
