Is Watt's hat a new(er) Pitt logo? Or not related to Pitt at all?

Nice! Thanks. $45 beanie tho. NFL player things. I do like the Pitt blue beanie as well.

I will say, i dont have the beanie, but the quality of their ball caps is pretty high. In fact, currently wearing one.
Randomness Dos
Camo ball cap for 60 bucks, are you **** insane lol

Oh I assumed they were a local company. That’s kind of a bummer.

That looks like how Brad Pitt signs an autograph

Our company has a rewards point system. You do something good someone sends you a thank you and you get points. The points used to be used to buy things from Amazon or Walmart. Now we get them in the form of visa gift cards.
I like to use them on fun(ish) stuff. Something that I might not otherwise buy.
So far I’ve bought a couple of nice chairs for our front porch, an iPad Pro, an exercise bike, a golf bag, so that kinda stuff.
I got $800 coming to me. Anyone have any ideas?
@NTP66 , is that a price point to get an okay 3d printer?
@tifosi77 , any neat kitchen gadgets?
@Algernon , is this a good price point for food dirt?

Lmao @ dirt
$800 would cover a Bambu Lab P1S Combo, which is what I have and highly recommend. You can go with an A1 if you want a bed slinger and save a few bucks, as that printer is universally praised.

Question. Do you have to pay tax on those gift cards? My company makes employees pay tax on gift cards bought through the employee appreciation store

Yep. We didn’t used to, but I think a tax auditor saw it and now we do.
Randomness Dos
Yeah they gave me a $250 gift card for 10 years of service and my following paycheck ended up being about $100 less than usual thanks to the taxes on it.

Get a PS5Pro and an extra controller.

Artisan stand mixer.
I never had anything like that, but Mrs Tif has had beaucoup points over the years. Lots of Amazon cards. But the coolest thing she ever got was our tickets for our flight to Singapore.
Many years ago her team won a national sales competition and the incentive prize was a 'warehouse dash' thing. We got to go to Chicago for that, and still have a lot of the items we picked up that day (the stand mixer, Nikon DSLR, wine fridge; we got a gen 1 iPad like the month they came out.)

I watched my neighbor clamber all over his roof and front of his house for about 4 hours yesterday, doing a light Griswolding. I can't be arsed with that. I put out our LED snowflakes on our sad holly tree and a lighted potted pine out by the front door. Candles in the windows, and done.
I have seen a number of off-season landscapers offering Christmas light installation services. I thought that a bit over the top and a real luxury, but that's what I used to think about having a landscaper cut my lawn every few weeks. Are you seeing these services elsewhere? Or is it an elderly retiree thing down here?

Yep, there are a number of "We hang Christmas lights!" signs throughout our area.
Randomness Dos
It's totally normal in bedroom communities. I'm not sure who is behind these businesses here (we don't really have an 'off-season' for landscapers) but we start seeing the signs early autumn, often paired with gutter cleaning services.
Our outdoor lights are basic enough that I can do it myself in like half an hour or 45 minutes....one of the exceedingly few bits of manual labor I indulge.
