Our power company is likely switching to demand/surge pricing this spring, where we'll be charged more for peak usage: early mornings in the fall/winter and afternoons in the summer. We have our thermostat programmed pretty well, but I'll be making adjustments to this to spite the power co-op we use.

Man, I would be frigid. My wife had turned it down to 70 one day I was out and when I walked in it felt like walking into a meat freezer.

Snow disaster emergency declared in Erie County. I got around 3 feet here last night and today with another 16 - 24 inches predicted overnight. Been listening to the scanner and it's really f'd up out there with people stranded everywhere. On Rt 5 out by NY all 4 lanes were just reported to be moving west with people looking for somewhere to shelter.

My kid is heading back to Rochester tomorrow, we told him just to stay here but think he is going to take 62 up thru the forest to Warren then 6 to 219 up thru Bradford and catch 86 to 390 up to Rochester. Long drive.

I’d probably rather just take 80 all the way to Dubois then up 219 rather than eff around going through Warren.

In defense of the young franchise, 62 from oil city to route 6 outside of Warren is probably the prettiest drive in the western part of the state

About 3-3.5 inches here in Bellefonte. Kid has a 2 hour delay. I wasn't expecting to get that much tbh.

Our lights stayed up, but other smaller things got blown over and I even had bricks on some of them (in addition to the stakes). We were getting 40+mph gusts all night and even into today. The snowman on our porch I have surrounded by chairs now and bricks so it doesn't go anywhere. The small tree on our porch keeps blowing over no matter what I do.

I would definitely really tether down/add extra to your big skeleton guy if nothing else.
