That seems like an interesting get
23 RH Center, averaging just below .5 PPG

I liked him. Haven’t seen much in the last year or so

I’m surprised this wasn’t a Poulin for Tomasino straight exchange but I guess the Preds want the roster spot for something?

Apparently the internet is wrong and he's more of a RW than a C

I don't want to get too excited. The Preds are horrible and they can't find a use for the guy

I mean, they did the same thing with Tolvanen and he just put up 16-25-41 in Seattle last year

I thought he was trending better a couple years ago, but, clearly plateaued.

He was a first round pick in 2019, apparently
Not bad value but likely won’t turn into much anyway

Better than what we have. Gets the team younger.

Fine pick up. He can shoot. I don't think he's really played center very much in the NHL. More of a RWer. It's just not really clear what he does. He has no role really...he isn't particularly tough to play against and he lacks contact balance. He's not a super talent in space. He'll sort of zip in and out of fairly tight spots to keep possession along the boards or whatever, but if you get a piece of him, you got him...ok wheels, but not fast really...
I don't know...maybe it turns out a bit better than Danton Heinen...? That's where the bar is for me...what side of Danton Heinen he falls on. A bit worse of a shot, I'd say. But maybe his game underneath the shot isn't quite as empty as Heinen's was...

I'd rather have a 4th than Poulin.Trip McNeely wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 2:38 pm I’m surprised this wasn’t a Poulin for Tomasino straight exchange but I guess the Preds want the roster spot for something?
