I will say this is at least not the same old OC match. My biggest issue is that it requires me to take Trent seriously... which I don't believe I am capable of.

Yep get it over with. I know some like the learning tree thing with Jericho but I’m just not into anything Jericho tries at this point.

Oh for sure, but not too often. Wrestlemania 22 vs Foley being the biggest example. I remember it happening a few other times too, even on Raw.

Totally blanked on the WM 22 match for some reason. I remembered the flaming table spot and lita getting mr socko wrapped in barb wire in her mouth but not edge blading for some reason.

Yeah Edge was moving up in singles during the downswing of the Ruthless Aggression era so there were definitely a few times where he bled. I remember a no dq or street fight match against HBK on some random Raw too where the camera caught Edge going for the blade then quickly cut away. I wish I could put my knowledge of pointless WWE trivia to good use.
