If you get to attend, please ask Katherine what data she used or provided that indicated Ryan Graves was worth signing. :slug:
:D
I actually thought about that. It would be nice to know the reason for signing him.

Who is thinking about this kind of deal right now? The draft is over a month away...

I guess the Isles are gonna use that extra 2nd to do something...?

It feels like when you’re playing Madden franchise mode and you see a trade by two computer controlled teams

Based on trade value charts it’s an “even” trade but I’m not really sure why either team bothered to do it

Definitely because NYI wanted another 2nd rounder for something.

It should be a quite advantageous trade for NYI. Getting a 2nd for just a few spots down in the picking order.
Or has Chicago stolen all teams' draft lists and really really want someone that will go as 18-19? :p

The Isles basically got themselves a free 2nd rounder.

@Kaiser

Cool, it's the same guy they just fired, but he inherited a cup winning team once.

Bylsma’s spent the last three seasons with their AHL club so this is not surprising

last night the Minnesota TBD won the inaugural PWHL Walter Cup

I watched this league on and off the last 5 months and this league has a bright future. is it NHL? no, but it's some damn good hockey.
full names coming this Summer. heard Minnesota is considering Reign. since their colors are purple, I really hope this happens.

Wife is taking our daughter and her friend to G1 of the AHL ECF in Hershey tonight. Should be a great time.

I long for the good ole days of playoff hockey in Hersheypark Arena. They were some cramped quarters but the atmosphere was so good when the Bears were good. I've only been to two games at Giant Center but the way they pack in that crowd, it seems like it's jumpin too.

I went to a WBS playoff game and got seats on the glass for pretty cheap. Most fun I've ever had at a hockey game outside of the Talbot "Shhh" game and the Malkin HT/Satan fight G2 against the Canes
