If you want a pamphlet on how to give away a game with 10 seconds left, watch what the Pacers did in Game 1. Nobody goes to the ball against the press on the inbounds pass and they turn it over. Then instead of fouling up by 3 with under 10 seconds left, they allow a 3 to tie from the corner. So incredibly boneheaded. And these coaches make millions to stand there on the sideline and be stupid. At least Carlisle owned it in the postgame.

That was a disaster class in terrible basketball. Halliburton inexplicably rushing down the floor up three with less than 30 seconds left, dribbling the ball off his knee. The inbound pass. The lack of fouling. The turnovers...yikes.

The Wolves are paying $77 million for a pair of 7-footers who are softer than the results of a bad Mexican dinner. KAT and Gobert are painful to watch at the offensive end. KAT just hangs out and chucks 3's. Gobert has 2 left feet in the post and gets bounced around whenever he has the ball. And then at the defensive end, they can't handle a pick-and-roll situation to save their lives. KAT just stands around and watches loose balls while Gobert is a step slow on every close out and hedge. There was no doubt in my mind Luka would hit that shot once Gobert switched onto him. Final Wolves possession up by 2, one marshmallow twin is on the bench due to ineffectiveness, the other marshmallow twin has a mismatch after a switch and just has to post up his guy for Ant to hit him. Instead, he just stands there and Ant is forced by Gafford to go elsewhere and he turns it over. It's just amazing to me to have two 7-footers and they both suck at the offensive end. Thank goodness for Naz Reid or else that would have been a boat race.

All that said, kudos to Kidd for his gameplan against the Wolves D and the Mavs for executing that plan.

Easy run in the sense that they swept this series but if the Pacers hadn't lose their **** in the last 3 minutes, they'd have a 3-1 lead and 2 of those without Halliburton.

Yeah but that’s a reason why the run was so easy…the Pacers are an inexperienced and flawed team who struggle to create shots late in games
