Also pretty clear that Connor Joe coming back to earth.

Always wanting to tell us he’s not an everyday player.

But the left handed platoon partners were both sub dogshit

Triolo also not an everyday guy, but Hayes’ injury (which may be fake) making him an every day guy. Hayes might be a dodint, I’d consider moving him, just don’t want to deal with his bullshit indefinitely.

What is the deal with Hayes? Knows that this franchise is a lost cause, regrets signing his deal (which he doesn't deserve), and wants out?

Just take solace in the fact that your freezing cold take isn’t even the worst take on that page. LL invested a good bit of energy trying to say nice things about rowdy
After i totally lambasted the signing. I never hated a guy more. So i tried to be optimistic lol

favorite things of the season so far:

Watching Chapman and Jones. Team pitching. Infield hits. 5-4-3 double plays

worst things to watch this year:

Bednar. The defense. Cutch.
This Chapman one is the one i keep thinking about.

The Bart thing is funny right now

After crying about losing the catcher to the giants last year in rule 5... can't even remember his name and being so excited about Davis

Listen, Blake Sabol is a stud. Forget the fact that the Giants banished him to AAA for the first six weeks of the year

I watched today's game beginning to end, the first time I've done so in probably ever. It seems like this team is a half decent manager and 1-2 more bats away from being above average to really good. Also sometimes pitching just doesn't have it.

Additionally, MLB needs to go to computer umpires. Cost Skenes at least 2 strikeouts and added about 8-10 pitches onto his count. (I know the buccos got some advantageous calls too)

Gorski again (7)
Nunez again (6)

Fellows pitching in altoona so far 16 8h 9bb 16k 1.69era 1.06whip .151avg. Anyway pitched more innings this year than his professional career at 26yo

When is the last time they lost 2 games in a row where they had a grand slam?

Rough especially with the 2 dynamos pitching

It's (with a loss in both games) happened something like four times in the last 50 years.

The #Barves are screwing me over again. I sadly live in the #Barves TV region, which is broadcast through Bally Sports South. I have YTTV, which doesn't carry Bally. I have MLB.tv (which is an excellent product), but I'm blacked out on that. Bally has a streaming option with a 7 day trial. Great! Except they don't stream #Barves games.

So my option is to get a feed, get a trial of Fubu (which does have Bally Sports South), or a VPN. Or not watch the Pirates, which might be best for my blood pressure.

I have a friend who's job oddly has him drinking/getting drunk with Pirates' personnel, said Shelton was sounding off on Hayes' one night. That the back injury he had last year where he went to Altoona to work with Nunnally was a fake injury.

I get the impression that Hayes is a guy where all his failures are someone else's fault.

Or, you know, he's a professional that realizes the garbage dollar store staff that the Pirates employ isn't going to help him improve. That's not to say he doesn't seem a bit...whiny about it.

Shelton sounding off about anything can GTFO.

To be fair none of these guys have even pitched this year really. but chapman sucks hard
Yeah. If Chapman is the 8th inning guy, your 7th is any combo of Mlodzinski, holderman, money moreta, borucki or Hernandez. It's a strength

No more Wil Crowe
Not sure I've ever seen a bullpen self-implode this quickly.

1. Moreta's arm breaks in Spring Training.
2. Bednar shows up so fat he can't pitch at all in Spring Training.
3. Holderman got malaria or some **** in Florida and had to take like two months off.
4. Mlodzinski is probably heading towards TJ or something. He's not right.
5. Borucki's arm breaks in Miami with him having to pitch every game in the first series.
6. Chapman clearly doesn't give a **** and just can't throw the ball over the plate.

I want Shelton fired as well. But Hayes' isn't good enough to be a coach killer.

Come at me.

Was still a bad roster decision. They chose to add Selby to the 40-man that cycle, this is clearly an organization that shouldn't be letting potential hitting prospects walk out the door.
