I'd make a comment about how they were buoyed by an unsustainable shooting percentage during the reg, but in order for that to even come into play in the playoffs, you kinda need to shoot the puck.

Boston played the same number of games and had 63 more shots on goal. The only other team below the Canucks in total shots were the Rangers, who are 9 behind with 3 fewer games played.

Not a recipe for success.
They won 7 playoff games. That's pretty successful imo

What about shot attempts? Is that the same story?
4th, but Boston and Edmonton are less than 10 behind, and they're nearly 80 behind the Avs in 3rd.

The bigger issue IMO, especially in the EDM series, is the -35 differential (which is also counting the +18 they had vs NSH).

They were talked up all year, faded toward the end, then barely squeaked by the Preds. Yeah, they won that series in 6, but they only won one of those games by more than a goal (G1, and the extra was an empty net).

For a team that was an offensive juggernaut for the first 1/2 of the season, they seemed to forget how to offense in the playoffs.

Do not want to have to choose between Canada or New York City so Florida and/or Dallas have to do work.

Sure, why wouldn't it be a 8:18 puck drop?

Forsling stops the go-to Panarin move at one end and leads the rush to get a primary on the Tkachuk opening salvo...always liked that player.

I noticed Vlad Tarasenko is listed on Florida's first line... I had no idea he was even playing these playoffs. Is he even doing anything?

I don’t really get that. If Lomberg made contact with Shesterkin by himself I’d get it but him entering the crease shouldn’t matter if Lindgren pushed him into Shesterkin

Crotch still can't catch passes...I still hope he has a 55 goal series.

Could see that too many men coming a mile away. Why the hell are you jumping off the bench with the puck right there?

No they didn't Ray...that's absolutely the wrong call. If that's too many men, every game would be a PP fest after 45 seconds of each period...

I’m watching the Spanish feed. I’m guessing he said it was the right call?

It seemed uncertain. Teams obviously get some grace but the puck seemed so far away from the bench that I was surprised it was called
